I use this work all the time . It great ! I plug it in before lunch and by the time I am ready to eat my lunch is nice and hot. It does great at heating up leftover. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to full heat up . It’s easy cleaning and is small enough for my desk. Plus its easy cleaning up !

**UPDATE** its December of 2025 and this still works great!! I use it multiple times a week and it works just as well as when I first bought it! Great for frozen soups/meals. I purchased "Silipint: Silicone 20oz Lidded Bowls: 2 Pack: Deep Pool & Moonstone - Unbreakable, Flexible, Microwave-Oven-Dishwasher" (a little pricy but fully worth it, I bought three sets for meal prep) I fill the bowls with soup, my meal preps or leftovers and then freeze. Once they are frozen I transfer the food to labeled freezer bags. After that it is a "grab and Go" situation, the food slides right into the warmer bowl. I mean it is a perfect fit! I plug the warmer in at my desk and by time I take my lunch my meal is super hot. I upgraded the review to a five star because after so long this thing is still wonderful and the paint issue isn't that serious. I leave the crock pot in my desk and I put the cord inside of it so the "cord issue" is no longer an issue. The insert is the only thing that travels with me to and from work. When it finally stops working I will not hesitate to buy another.So far this thing does exactly what it supposed to. It does a great job in reheating food. If I have bone in chicken and mashed potatoes, it usually takes about 45 minutes to an hour for the food to get hot hot. So this is my second mini crockpot I had one years ago, and there are things I prefer on the new one and then other things I prefer on the old one. I love that the lid on the new one screws on Now. I don’t have to worry about food spilling out of the bowl. The cord on the new crockpot is detachable now, not an improvement I’m my opinion. I suppose it’s for ease of storage or maybe so it’ll wrap nicer but for the life of me I cannot get the cord to stay wrapped up. It’s like the cord is just a hair too long so the plugs don’t stay in their designated spots. They are forever popping out. That is pretty frustrating. I’m usually carrying a handful of things from my car to office every morning and having to put it all down to pick up the cord that fell off the bottom of my food warmer halfway through a fleet yard is not joy. I think I’m gonna try Velcro. See if I can’t find a way to make it stay. I love the color of mine. I got the green one, but the paint on the small gray rim that the lid screws into it’s already wearing off and I’ve only had this for about a month now. I don’t really wash the base of the mini crockpot but I spot clean it. The paint hasn’t rubbed off from excessive wear and tear or too much of anything like that. It’s just doesn’t stick that well I guess. This item lost a star because of the paint and the cord issue. It works great and does what it supposed to do and it’s not giant like the other food warmers I’ve seen. overall happy with my purchase..

I learned of this warmer 3 years ago and kick myself for not jumping on it then. If you're a teacher, then you know a 30 to 40 minute lunch is really 15 minutes at best after taking students to the cafeteria, waiting to use a spattered microwave that might take forever to heat, or waiting for an overpriced, delayed Door Dash delivery to arrive with your lunch. After waiting for the microwave to heat a Lean Cuisine meal, I observed a coworker walk in the teacher's lounge, sit down, open her warmer, and begin eating a hot lunch without hesitation. After watching this scenario daily, for a year,... (yeah.... I didn't want to purchase another cute gadget to add to my Goodwill donation box)...or waiting for another expensive, delayed lunch delivery, I finally caved in and purchased this warmer. OMMMGGG! My entire lunch situation changed for the better! First, it paid for itself when I consider the cost of 2-3 delivered lunches a week. A Door Dash lunch is no longer required. Pros: No more waiting in line for the microwave. No more waiting for a microwave to heat my lunch. I don't have to leave my room if I want a peaceful & quiet lunch alone. I eat healthier lunches. Did I mention a hot lunch?! Perfect for heating leftovers from home or from last night's take out. My lunch is never dry or over cooked. If I want a frozen meal (Lean Cuisine), I heat it in the microwave at home for 1 minute to soften and ease of placing in the warmer. Once at school, I plug in the warmer and heat without disturbing for 2 1/2 hours. Perfect temp, not dry, or burned. The inner vessel is easy to clean after use. I take it home everyday and leave the base at school. I even prepare oatmeal at home: 1/2 c oats, 1/2 c water, 1/2 c milk, dash of salt, cinnamon, brown sugar, vanilla, 1 t. butter and some raisons. Place ingredients in liner, take to work, plug in for 2 1/2 hours, stir and enjoy hot, smooth oatmeal for lunch. Cons: It's a mini crockpot warmer, so yes, patience is required for warm/hot food. Some people commented their food was warm in 1 hour. I can't say that. My schedule works for a 9:30am plug in and 11:55am hot meal to enjoy with no food odors in the room. Honestly, every school district should purchase this warmer as a welcome gift for their new teachers. They'll thank you later.

I got this thing at the start of the year and it's changed lunches for me entirely. It's so easy, I just plug it in 1.5-2 hours before I plan to take my lunch (I could probably do it even earlier), and if it's not a soup I add in a splash of water to steam up. Everything is evenly heated and I don't have to deal with any of the cons of microwaving my meal. No cold or lava hot spots, no weird taste, no being depressingly bland once reheated.This thing really shines with soups, chilis, and stews. But don't let it fool you, it's amazing with just about anything but breaded stuff. That's the only category of food I won't heat in here, because the steam will make it lose the crunch.This only warms food, it does not cook it, though I will be experimenting with making instant ramen in it. One of my coworkers does this and she swears by it. Oh yeah and like 3 of my coworkers also have these exact little crock pots for their lunches. They're quite popular in my office.

This smartly designed mini crock pot checks all the boxes. I trusted the Crock Pot brand and it did not disappoint. From the antiturn pin to the storage for the removable cord, this company thought of everything. And it's tiny but mighty. I put in precooked cold soup and 1 serving didn't fill 1/2 the 20 ounce bowl. I plugged it up upon arrival and at lunch time it was steaming hot. I've been looking for something to warm leftovers for lunch and that's exactly what this did. It slowly warms over hours. I only tried a 4 hour interval so I'm not sure if it will do 2-3 but the advantage to this slow warm is the food texture, moisture and quality didn't change at all. If you're used to a crock pot then you know this. For the people that had trouble with the lid, always lift the steam release valve and if the bowl is engaged with the anti turn pin, there was no problem opening lid. You eat right out of the bowl while it's in the unit so you won't burn yourself. There's no other safe way and the instructions are clear on that. Lastly, this thing turns heads. It's tiny, cute and practical. You don't find that combo often. Several people at work literally ordered their own, on the spot, when they saw and heard me brag about mine. The only question I have is, what material was used for the inner bowl. I prefer stainless steel over aluminum but I'm suspicious that this is the latter. To limit exposure, I don't pack my lunch at night but in the morning. That would add another layer of convenience. The good news is, it cleans up easily and so far, no food stains (There are already water stains but the booklet tells the remedy for that. ) Bottom line, read and follow the manual and this mini crock pot will warm your lunch slowly and right on time.
