Expensive but worth the cost
This is the only wet food I have found that my long haired cat can eat without vomitting. I have tried other expensive cat foods that my other cat likes, but for some reason (it could be eating too fast), this one cat cannot hold other foods down. In addition to hair balls, my long haired cat has had severe problems with constipation and dehydration that have led to two vet visits where they had to perform an enema and give her an IV. After the first vet visit, the vet recommended that we pay $500 for an ultrasound to see if she had some type of digestive disease since the bloodwork came back negative. However, the second vet (at the emergency clinic) thought she just wasn’t getting enough water, so he told us to remove dry food from her diet and replace it with low carb, all meat wet food with no extras, like the gravy that comes in some wet food. We have not had any more issues with vomitting or emergency vet visits since we started feeding our cats this wet food two times a day. We open two cans in the morning, and store them in the fridge until dinner time, when they finish the rest. We leave a tiny bit of hairball control dry food out while we are at work for them to snack on. Sometimes I give them a third can at night depending on if they still seem hungry. It’s only been two months since our last vet scare, but it seems like this food has helped. Both of our cats have MUCH better fur that looks so much healthier, and I am happy to report that our litter box has more poop in it (which is something monitor after the constipation scares). This cat food is expensive (I’m now spending at least $100 on cat food a month when you take into consideration the dry food), but honestly it is worth it if your cat has a history like ours.

High Quality and Kitties Like It
High quality cat food. I really like the soft pate texture, or should I say my cats like it. I would rather pay more for food and avoid vet bills. I wish the smaller cans were not significantly more expensive, but I can heat uo left overs in the microwave. Great for mixing medications as well.

Amazing help for hairballs
Definitely helps with our cats hairballs. The cats love this, helps their coat look shiny and soft, and had helped reduce hairballs.

My extremely picky cat is obsessed with this
My extremely food fussy cat is completely addicted to the hairball control chicken flavor, even though he doesn’t even have hairballs. He usually gets bored of food quickly or refuses to eat certain things, but he absolutely loves this one and eats it every time without hesitation. At this point I just accept that I have to buy the more expensive one because he loves the flavor so much. Honestly, it’s worth it knowing he’s happy, eating consistently, and getting good nutrition. Thank you for keeping my cat happy, fed, and nutritious.

Great hairball control food!
My one cat suffers from hairballs and had been throwing up constantly. I switched him to this hairball control cat food and Purina One Cat Sensitive System Cat Food, 16-Pound and also started giving him hairball control treats once a day. The difference is amazing so this combo seems to really be working. He now only throws up once every week to two weeks instead of every day. Both of my cats love this food and are clamoring to get it when it's dinner time. The smell isn't too "cat food-y" if that makes sense. There is no overwhelming pungent odor which I appreciate! Also, even though it's the same oz as some other brands I have tried, for some reason it seems like there is more in the bowl when I put this in there. Maybe this is because this isn't a congealed can shaped puck of food like some other wet foods and is more of a softer consistency? Not sure, but either way myself and my cats love this food.

Healthy Food for Healthy Cats
Awesome wet food for cats w hairball control. As they are always grooming themselves and this helps with the elevation of hairballs in their stool. Save a lot of money on Vet bills. However, this food has not been available at all in stores and online. Researched to see if there was a call back but to no avail. Sent an email to Hills, Science Diet located in Topeka, Kansas w no response. I anyone out here has an answer, please let us know.

Helps a lot
I have a Turkish Angora and she sheds a lot. She's hard to deshed because she moves around a lot so I try my best to brush her as much as I can. She still throws up hairballs but it's been less frequent since I started giving the food to her
