Great soaker does the job , good value

The photo shows the porous pipe in our smallish raised bed used for vegetables at beginning of season. All 30 metres was used up in this exercise. You need the metal stakes to keep it position, bought separately. Incidentally area shown was rotovated by battery device bought here - highly recommended for old backs! The video clip shows pipe in action. We are lucky to be on a small river bank and have a pump to which this connected. Waters for 2 hours at night (cheap rate!). Photo shows effect of hose after two hours when first used on dry earth. The things we've already planted are shooting up! The tiny waterspout didn't last long. You need a reasonable pressure if your using a pump from a reservoir, say on an allotment. Ours is 500 watts mains rated. But I guess it could work by gravity, although much slower. The one stopper (standard garden hose) supplied is essential

This pipe drips water very slowly and I leave it on all day. The kit provided everything I needed to run a permanent standard hose from my only suitable outside tap to where I needed the watering system, across my front door and over a low wall. The only thing I added were hose clamps at every joint just to be absolutely sure the joint would never come apart. I think it very unlikely they ever would come apart as the connectors are extremely tight and I had to heat the pipe to soften it and get it over the fittings, but you never know. Far more pipe than I needed of course but I'm sure I will find a use for it.

Good product. Installation was not too difficult. Has been working good since installed last week. Happy. Hopefully lasts long. Jury still out.

So far so good. I installed this at the weekend and that was fairly straightforward. Would advise to add this early in the season before you need to work it around too many new plants coming up. Mine was at the perfect time and is woking well. Saving time and water

Good Product For its use

Works pretty well on short runs but I found that with single runs of 10 metres or more the flow at the end was poor. Fixed this by making the runs a loop using a tee piece at one end and connecting the loop together. This seems to equalise the pressure to achieve decent flow along the whole length. Problem is I’ve need two times the amount of hose and it gets expensive this way.

We planted 450 hedge plants in the winter and need to keep them hydrated in the recent weather. I tried this as a good solution and it is proving to be very good. The hose itself works well one you sort out the pressure as it is sensitive to slope and length. If your ground slopes then best to start the run at the top as otherwise tricky to get the right pressure. When this is sorted then the hose awesome. We bought some stakes to keep it off the ground. Not entirely necessary but keeps it out of the dirt and also easier to see how much water is coming out. The hose fittings which come with it are not the best but you can pick these up cheaply if not happy. Overall very pleased.

Posato per irrigare una siepe lunga 18 metri in combinazione con una centralina di irrigazione (Diivoo) ma soprattutto con un stabilizzatore di pressione a 1 bar (Claber 87281) acquistati tutti sempre su Amazon = Zero pensieri. la centralina è un optional, ma lo stabilizzatore è un must perché senza si rischia che una troppa pressione dell'acqua faccia scoppiare il tubo poroso.

Blev hål på slangen. Vattenräkningen ökade med 1500%.
