This is an important feature as one of the AO's that are assessed within the exam, is context of the time the play was written and being able to relate that to the events in the play. This is joined with the places, events and attitudes within the time which help display a further understanding. -- Character profiles: This includes Inspector Goole, Arthur Birling, Sybil Birling, Sheila Birling, Eric Birling, Gerald Croft, Eva Smith, Edna and the overall development of each of the characters. Overall, it's a solid book. Maybe accompanied with some past paper exam question practice and Mr Bruff Video's (on YouTube) would be a solid loadout to getting to a grade 7 or above. Genius and much needed tool fo
Snap revision books are genius and a vital tool if your child is doing exams! I bought it to see if it was ant good then ended up buying the other topics my daughter was studying in the series!!! Cant recommend enough for anyone with tests/exams makes it all crystal clear

Pocket size
I am a tutor & have recommended this for some students for revision in the build up to exams. It's pocket size which is handy for students who have a journey to college & can use it on the bus/train/tube. It is great if you are already very familiar with the text. The print is small & dense, there is a lot packed in this small guide. If your student likes diagrams/charts/concept webs this is not ideal for them, but it's great for others.

Anything that helps during the hell for students (and parents) that is GCSE revision time is worth it and this compact revision guide is proving very useful. Perhaps compact in size but packed with information and tips, this is in our daughter’s view one of the best revision guides she has seen. Can’t praise it higher than that! Other titles in the series have now been bought....recommended by her teacher and easy to see why.
