Easy to use and install, dual camera doorbell
The media could not be loaded. The neat, smart looking, easy to install, wireless, battery powered solution to your home security needs with no annual/monthly fees. This version has a dual split camera for human and package delivery detection. It also notifies you if the package is picked up.The app is easy to navigate, along with the human and package notifications, it also alerts you when the doorbell is pressed by chiming on your phone. You can easily respond to your guest or delivery driver, it takes seconds to start a conversation, by pressing the notification. We have been using this over the last couple of months, I would highly recommend this product, to give you peace of mind when you are home or away.

Good quality, no subscription fee, easy to setup, works with existing mechanical chimes.
Very happy so far. I replaced a traditional push button bell with the S330 and have it hardwired. Being hardwired means there’s constant power and the old mechanical chime works perfectly.Video quality is good. A push of the doorbell button results in an almost immediate response from Amazon Echo and the Eufy Homebase chime, there is zero delay for the mechanical chime. Packages left on the doorstep are highlighted and alerts are sent to your phone, if anyone approaches a package another alert is sent and video is recorded… you can optionally set the doorbell up to play a recorded message to anyone that approaches a package but I haven’t tried that. Lag for sending prerecorded messages is more noticeable but nowhere near as bad as some people have reported. Only real negative is the relatively large size compared to a Ring Doorbell.

Unbiased review from Ring door bell user
We have been using ring doorbell 2nd gen for the last 2 years and paying approx 4 monthly subscription services and decided to get rid of the subscription. Everything is subscription these days so one less would be good. Right?First impression - The build quality is good. Packaged very well. Comes with a mounting bracket, and screws to install. Has a built-in battery so no need to be hardwired with the power source.Installation - Needs to drill only two holes and installed within minutes. Took me 5 min to set up and pair both the doorbell and Homebase 2. Yes, it comes with home base 2 and not 3. Does not make a difference to me because we don't have any more devices in our house so storage is not an issue.Took 15 min to drill and fix it on the wall.User experience - Other Amazon customers have complained about the delay. Let me clarify this. The doorbell is connected to the home base and eufy cloud services. I will come to that cloud part later. When someone rings the doorbell or it detects motion, the doorbell tries to reach the home base to initiate a session and record the event. If there is a poor wifi signal, then it took extra milliseconds which indeed is the cause of the delay. In the case of the ring doorbell, poor wifi does not affect much because you get notified from ring.com directly which naturally has faster processing than Eufy home base 2. So, if you want quick notification, make sure Eufy Bell gets a good wifi signal and Homebase is connected via ethernet in the same network.Cloud connectivity and privacy concern - It does need eufy account to pait homebase and doorbell. The eufy id is needed to notify on your phone even if you are outside your wifi network. It does not upload any videos to the cloud. When you open the eufy app to watch events, it decrypts the video and plays it on your phone directly from Homebase 2. However, if you want a notification with a thumbnail, then some portion of the video needs to be processed at eufy.com to generate a thumbnail and notify you. The session and data are encrypted so don't worry much. The guys at eufy cannot decrypt because the private keys are stored in Homebase itself. If you worry much, then change the notification to text only in the eufy app.Comparison - The ring doorbell video quality was nothing compared to eufy doorbell. I don't know if it has HD or FHD in the ring but in eufy it is 2k. The picture is crisp and clear. I am very impressed with the video quality and not going back to ring ever. Conclusion – I am very happy with eufy doorbell. Mine was the dual camera with a home base 2 combo package. Cost me 189 but compared to Ring, there is no monthly subscription and far better quality.Thinking of connecting to NVR like sinology or qnap, it will not work because of lack of OVNIFWill update review with some pictures soonUpdate May 4, 2023Now door bell works with homebase 3. You needLatest Software version ashomebase 3 - 1.4.0.8Doorbell - 0.1.6.6iOS app version - 4.6.4Android app update yet to be releasedSetup normally as you do and you are good to go. I can confirm that my door bell is working with homebase 3.

Overpriced technology, Avoid.
The media could not be loaded. There is not really much positive to say about this product. The one thing is the ease of installation. Great to have a 16GB storage as well as you aren't paying for cloud. That is unfortunately where the positives end.You are supposed to be able to interact with the person at the door. Impossible. The lag is so bad that neither person can interact. Meaning that mail/parcels have been returned. The battery life was ok for the first 6 months. Then the charging becomes much more frequent. Resulting in the battery giving up completely after only 18 months. Which for a unit that cost over £200. Is just an absolute joke. That's when the customer service side comes into play. Wow. They may as well be not there. Everything is said off a script. They made me jump through hops to take videos of what my unit was doing. Only to inform me after over 24 hours later. To my shock. The unit was broken! Not only that as it was past 12 months the unit had no warranty on it.They did say how they understood my frustration and a 15% refund could be given if I purchased the.same product! Again it was all off script no human interaction. I escalated the issue as this was my elderly mothers and she is housebound and reliant on it. Again after 24 more hours someone apologised again and offered me 30% no human interaction b I was told that they are not allowed to make telephone calls to customers. My poor old mum had gone without a doorbell for over a week while I jumped through hoops to try and interact with a human being on the telephone. If you are happy to purchase a new unit for £200 plus every 18 months. Then Eufy is the company for you. If you love a customer service as inadequate as their product. Then Eufy is the company for you.As for me. I'll leave this review for others to be warned. Then say that Eufy is NOT the company for me.
