UPDATE REVIEW: Bulbs arrived and many of them didn’t look like they were going to make it. I originally gave 1 star because none sprouted. But when the hot temperatures hit, I suddenly noticed one then two then now eight! Definitely should have waited longer. My apologies!

It's been about 5-6 weeks since Ive planted these bulbs and not a single one has sprouted

These bulbs are easy to plant they always please me with the way they perform. They add color and do well through 90 + degree weather in shade. They also last all summer.

I’m very happy with this purchase! The plants came out so beautiful and I had a nice variety in one package. I ordered two packs of 10 - one for each bed. They came up after about 3 weeks in the Houston summer.

Purchased these in October 2024. Initial rating : 2 stars. Seems that most of the bulbs are dried out. Out of 10 bulbs, 8 were dried out and didn't look like they could not sprout. In fact two of them were broken. I suppose the seller holds onto a bunch of stock and sells whatever they have, even if it doesn't look good. Most of the good reviews are probably from the folks who got lucky with buying bulbs at the right time.2 seem fine, waiting to see if they sprout, but not too confident. I'd recommend buying these from a store where you can verify the quality of the bulbs.UPDATE Dec 26, 2024 :7 of the 10 bulbs yielded plants! I am updating my review from 2 stars to 4 stars. I am hesitant to provide the 5th star because :- 3 bulbs still yielded nothing- The place where these bulbs ended up is not in the US, it's in tropical Africa, being grown by someone who's watching the plants with a keen eye and green thumb, day in and day out.Therefore, the plants were given the best possible chance at surviving, and we still got 70% efficiency. I'd say that's 4/5 stars worth.

I ordered two packs of these, started 10 in potting soil in the house in April and planted 10 directly outside in the soil at the end of May and I didn’t get a single sprout. Very disappointing.

I started mine at the beginning of March and they started sprouting the middle of May. I germinated mine in sphagnum moss with a clear done covering the pot. Beautiful. I received 4 different types. Just make sure to plant them with the tops facing upward, otherwise it will grow incorrectly and you might lose the sprout. You tube has LOTS of videos to help show how to plant them! I would definitely buy again from this seller. I think it was a great value for my money. Bulb size are different, but all grew beautifully.
