Good Product
I had surgery on my forehead to remove a spot of skin cancer, and ended up with a 4 inch scar. My dermatologist recommend silicone gel and silicone pads to help reduce the appearance of the scar. I bought these pads because I wanted something with a little cushion to protect the area from wearing hats. These feel similar to those under eye patches you wear for a spa treatment. They are a bit โrubberyโ feeling, and they just the right amount of cushion. They stay in place well, and they blend in with my Irish skin tone pretty well. They are โreusableโ to an extent, but I find they donโt stick very well after the 2nd use. I do wash them with mild soap and air dry, but they arenโt the same after 2 uses. I use gel silicone first, then apply tinted mineral sunscreen. After 10 minutes of drying, I apply the silicone pad, and it sticks well. I also use at night while sleeping and it doesnโt fall off. I do trim these to fit the size of the scar.As to whether or not it reduces the scar, time will tell, but at the very least, it provides a good alternative to keeping the scar discreetly covered besides a bandaid.Update: I started using these overnight and using them directly after washing my face. I find that these pads work better than the gel. The pads have had a bigger impact on flattening the scar and removing the redness. I use the Kroger SPF 100 sheer touch sunscreen in the day, wash my face at night, apply face cream, and after about 10 min I apply the silicone pad. Theyโve been helping a lot.

Effective and Gentle Scar Treatment โ Visible Results in 5 Months
I have been using this DFK silicone scar tape for 5 months to treat a scar from thyroid surgery, and I am genuinely impressed with the results. The scar has become noticeably flatter and much less visible over time. The tape is soft, flexible, and very easy to apply and remove. It does not irritate my skin at all, which is a big plus since the area is quite sensitive.I appreciate that the tape stays in place well and is breathable. I wear it daily and have found that it helps keep the area hydrated and protected. It is also easy to cut to the right size, which makes it convenient to use for different scar shapes and sizes. I do not reuse it because it does not seems to stick well after 2-3 uses, especially if you sweat a lot.If you are consistent with use, this scar tape can really make a difference. It has worked wonderfully for me, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a non-invasive way to improve the appearance of surgical scars.

Does what it is supposed to, though it could adhere better after first use
These scar treatment strips are honestly quite nice, easy to apply and use, and do what they are supposed to do. When first new out of the package, they stick well and blend in decently (I am using mine on my neck where they are visible so I didn't want them sticking out too much).Per the package, you should be able to take the strip off, wash it, let it dry, and then re-use for 2-3 weeks (I think that it is 3 weeks per the package insert but I don't have it in front of me to verify). The insert states that as the strip dries that it will regain it's stickiness so that it can be reapplied. In actual use, though, I found that after the first use and washing it per the instructions that it just wouldn't stick like it needed to. It worked for the first application but after that I ended up using some cloth tape designed for medical use to keep the strip applied. (This said, on a flat part of the body that doesn't flex, it might stick a little better but on my neck it definitely didn't.) Because the packages states that it should stick but I found that it didn't stick like it should, I deducted the rating star.Overall these strips are quite good and they do what they should do to protect the scar while healing; however, just be aware that they won't stick as well after the first time. I've been glad to have them and hope that they help reduce the scar visibility as I continue to heal.

good product
recently had surgery and the doctor suggested I purchase these sheets to help with the scar...so far so good. I did have to wait until the incision was healed before using and the sheet can not be kept on all day...make sure to read the directions ! I will purchase them again if I have surgery.

Good product.
Was very helpful for post-surgical wounds. Takes time, but made a visible improvement in my scar. I would definitely recommend

Thick/textured enough to keep wound area flat, which may be worth paying more
As for the "reusable" aspect, yes. I am getting weeks out of one sheet. Just take care not to get lotions on it, and don't get it too soaked in water [such as when bathing or swimming] and it will last quite a while. Gentle soap, then rinse well and dry before reapplication on clean skin. These are still maintaining same adhesion on the sides and all over after weeks of uses which is very impressive. These are pricier than the roll versions, but may be worth it to you because those other tapes [I have tried Scaraway roll and other more generic rolls] won't keep the incision or wound site flat- which is what you want. These are thick and have a bit of texture to them, which helps the underlying skin stay under control. They average out to be about 3.50 per sheet, and if you get at least a week out of each, one pack is likely to last a month [actually way more], so may be worth the initial sticker shock. IMO these are the best for surgical scars and worth the added cost for me. FYI, you will want to massage your *surgical* scar at least 1x per day to smooth out the cleavage and get it smooth, then reapply the strip. Just wearing the tape won't do it. You'll need to do both. PS, I got nearly 30 days out of one strip -- it just would not quit, before I feel compelled to change it. PSS - If your scar is on a less flat area, you could combine this tape with KT tape to keep it on the wound site. My area is relatively flat, but I do use the KT tape when I am doing sweaty or wet activities to keep it fixed.

Not really reusable
The adhesive lasted less than 20 hours. I thought it was supposed to be reusable and more than 2 weeks

Helps to reduce scars!
I think they work fairly well to reduce scars appearance, but it takes a long time. they stick well, and last through multiple showers. I usually take them off before showering and put back on. I just wish they worked faster.
