Very Nice Camera--Good Value for the Money
This little camera is very good value for the money. The small size and good camouflaging makes it easy to place to get the best pictures. Daytime pictures are crisp and clear color. (Note the photo of Blue Jay attached. The small amount of blur you see is because I enlarged the bird.) Nighttime is not as crisp, but is pretty good black & white quality that allows for seeing the various creatures visiting your outdoor areas. (We were surprised to find deer, foxes, opossum and even a large snake in our suburban back yard.) It has a strap so it can be mounted to a tree. Battery life is excellent. It is easy to use because you can change the memory card or batteries without taking the camera down. My only suggestion is for setting buttons to be more clearly marked with a bright alternative color so they can be more easily seen. Also, customer service was excellent. After a few months, I had an issue with the night camera and the company handled the issue in an excellent manner. I recommend this camera for good amateur use.

dam good camera, good price... worth 5 stars.
still in the testing phase but so far...its impressive. Set up it pretty easy... it caught the annoying stray cats at a good distance away, very crisp/clear night pix. ... I like how its mount lets it hang from a screw/nail for quick mounting or moving about. Have not tested the time laps yet but in the past that option has recorded nifty plant goth/flowering pictures as well as season change wonders in the woods out back.I have used trail cams for years as a backup to my security cam system.... they can cover a given area a security camera will not reach into and can be a true security asset. One in a mailbox or under a table or in a bookshelf (no thief looks at books) is a little stand alone security system (no activity, no pix but it can/will/has record a nosy neighbor reading my mail or looking in a window) . Pretty nifty pix in front of a bird feeder to.The true test of a trail cam is will it keep working over time. This one looks pretty well built for long term outdoor use. Its nice it has a power port for external power... very handy when you do not have 8 AA batteries. At the price u cant go wrong... buy 2, always good to have a spare unit RTG,One strange this camera will do is if aimed anywhere close to where the hits its optics at just about any angle.... you get a starburst pattern ... all cameras do this to a point, its pretty extreme on this camera . not a deal breaker but good to know in advance.

"A" PLUS on customer service
While I have had it only a short time, and had the "Other Major Brand" which failed very badly, so far, I am impressed with this one. Time will tell though.10-14-17 UPDATE: Camera has grossly failed. In this past week, it does not capture moving people, or our 8500# Bobcat skidsteer, day or night time.10-27-17 UPDATE: The mfg has contacted me on this unit several times and I re tried it again in the field with the same results. Now with that being said, I have "Up Graded" my review of this unit due to the fact that these folks are on top of there products and especially in there customer service taking note of the issues that I have had with it. Being an electrical product, anything at any time can go bad at any time, it goes with the nature of the beast, but this companies customer service, is extremely hard to beat. So, while my unit failed, there customer service, CAN NOT BE BEAT!!! Even thought my "Return Window" has expired, I will be receiving a refund, which I am extremely grateful.

Two of them smoked, sizzled, and died after producing some terrible test shots. Severely disappointed, returning...
I'm returning the two I bought and I'd advise against purchasing these cameras. Pics and details included below:After unboxing, I opened a pack of new batteries and popped them in. The Artitan Trail Game Camera powered on, and within a minute or two the camera started smoking and sizzling. I quickly grabbed a screw driver, popped the batteries out, and counted myself lucky it didn't happen after I mounted it near the house. This was a life-threatening fire hazard. Since I bought two, I thought "there's no way...." and I grabbed the second one. Again, new/unused batteries from a different company, popped them in, and it worked.....for a while.During the time it was operating, I grabbed some test photos. The viewing angle / FOV is listed as 60 degrees, but at appox 10 feet away, the camera couldn't even capture my wingspan. Similarly sad, its viewing ceiling was very low, and my head didn't make the photo either. More sadness, I wasn't moving and the picture is blurry. The camera failed to meet any of my expectations, as well as failed to meet its own specifications.Final failure was for the 2nd camera to not to be outdone by the 1st -- it also started smoking and sizzling. I'm very fortunate and thankful that the units self destructed so fast, otherwise the damage could have been much more severe.

Awesome camera!!!
I had bought this trail camera to replace my camera that was stolen. I have only had it out for just under a week and of course it was deer season. The pictures are very clear and great quality day and night. It also caught my horse that has been sneaking out of the fence to steal the corn from the deer feeder haha. This camera is going to be a game changer for me because the clear pictures will be able to show me the big bucks once I get them coming to the feeder. I'm overall very pleased thus far with this camera!!!! Check out the quality of these pictures! Day and night!

Won't take night pictures
I've tried really hard to like this camera, but because it will not take night photos I'm not happy with it. I bought two of them September of 2017. They've been in continuous use as security cameras and have yet to take a single night shot. Day shots are fine, and they've lasted this long without any other issue, but not taking night pictures is a fatal flaw. Having two of these units that won't take night shots is certainly condemning. I emailed the manufacturer through Amazon and followed their curative recommendations to no avail. I certainly wouldn't buy this camera again. I have a game camera from another manufacturer that has worked flawlessly for the past 1.5 years and takes great night pictures.
