They said they would last for 3-6 months. Mine were planted in December of 2021. I placed them in 2, perhaps three slots since I had basil, thyme and chives still growing. I was looking for some color for winter. Admittedly only one pod germinated of the 2 - 3, but the one that did, took over. I have been cutting it back ( just did before the picture), but it is a crazy grower. I think I can sneak in some herbs on the other side. The chives have been hanging in there for almost 18 months with regular harvests in the middle, but nothing seems to kill the flowers. They are always in bloom.

My second purchase did not take. It was pass 30 days after i decided it didn’t grow.

This is literally the only set of Aerogarden pods I've ever bought that never germinated. I had them in my Aerogarden for three weeks, and all I got was a nice crop of mold. Threw them out and planted some from seed, which germinated in two days. This was very disappointing. They must have been very old seeds, or else someone forgot to put the seeds in the pods altogether. I have bought many Aerogarden preseeded pods for herbs, lettuce, etc., and have never had germination fail before.
