If you want to use nothing on your hair or body that your grandmother wouldn’t recognize, these products are probably not for you. If, however, you have many plant allergies (topical or respiratory) and are not averse to modern chemistry, but want to avoid known harmful chemicals, Check these out. The shampoo is great for me. I’ve been looking about 5 years for an unscented product to replace one no longer made. I rather like the cucumber smell from the juice in the product, and I don’t have to use much. It does work better if I spread it around between my hands and then apply to the hair. I have very long, thick hair, but this shampoo does clean it well without overdoing it. The conditioner has been working nicely as well. I may need to add jojoba oil massage to my scalp for long-term use, as the skin is beginning to feel a bit dry. I have needed to use the detangler (separate purchase) after towel-drying, but my hair is very long (2.5 feet). The combination has worked. The combination of this shampoo and conditioner so far (3.5 months) has worked well for me, washing about every two weeks. I do brush my hair the old-fashioned way with a natural-bristle brush every day.

Pleasantly surprised at how well this shampoo works. I am very sensitive to smells and am always on the lookout for fragrance free products. There is a very faint cucumber type smell with this shampoo but it did not bother me at all. I have used this shampoo in conjunction with the conditioner and have had no allergic reactions whatsoever. I feel that it cleans my hair without stripping it. I would definitely recommend giving it a try

No real scent. Great texture and think, BUT doesn't exactly spread easily through hair. However I found that if I rub it on head gathering up hair, it suds well. It does clean well, but leaves hair tangled. Thank goodness for the fabulous conditioner that hydrates, moisturizes, smooths, etc!

This is not fragrance free. It also very watery and drys hair. Hard to lather. I have their conditioner and spray detangler, they both are odor free and excellent products. They come sealed, so safe. I would not recommend the shampoo, but the other products are good.

This is good stuff! I've search for a hair shampoo that was fragrance-free and still worked well for my hair, and I finally found it! I had tried Free and Clear, and that stuff was pointless. This lathers nicely and adds moisture to my hair. I just wish it was less expensive.

This could have been a perfect shampoo if it was actually unscented. The cucumber scent, while it's pleasant sometimes, can be a bit too much on more sensitive days. This is a very nice formula, and probably works well on any type of hair, but wish they made this in an "UNscented" version. Typically the reason why people buy these types of brands, geared towards people with chemical sensitivities, is that they don't tolerate fragrances, scents, aromas, or other unnecessary or overwhelming smells. Hope they make an unscented version of this in the future.

Cucumber smell is wonderful and light, squeaky clean hair after light wash, doesn’t dry hair or scalp! Worth the price! No allergic reaction for me, but do test on arm whenever you try new product. Love this shampoo!

I love this shampoo. It's concentrated so you dont need to use a lot. It also works up into a good lather. Leaves my hair nourished and shiny. Leaves no residue. Gentle on the scalp and totally fragrance free.
