The fabric seems really light and almost see through in the photos. is the fabric see through?

The fabric is NOT see-through. The skirt is made from Soft & Durable Rayon Viscose fabric.

We got a small--it has elastic at the waist so it will fit and is plenty long (I'm 5'6"). Length shouldn't be a problem since the front hem is adjustable. It is a nice soft rayon (that wrinkles). Also the one that arrived here is not a chocolate brown but more like a rusty brown (if that matters). We also ordered a similar thing in black netting that we really like. It is quite stiff and fluffy from China Post (xfy02shop@126.com) for only $15. Found that on ebay item # 311226271314

Would this work for a saint patrick's day theme? is it more green than blue?

I'd say it's definitely turquoise -- truly blue-green or teal. If you google "pantone turquoise" - it looks like that to me. That said, I'm wearing for St. Patricks Day, it's a gorgeous color IMO and I'm part mermaid. I'm going to wear a bunch of green accessories, then count on the dark and beer goggles to make it all work. Love how the skirt looks with corset, love the adjustable front! :)

Great but white fabric is a bit see through

I loveeee this skirt it’s so pretty and really adjustable. I got the white version and wish the fabric was less see through. It’s still wearable though!

Excellent quality!

The quality of the skirt is much higher than I expected for such a reasonable price! You can wear it as a long skirt or gathered. The fabric is made of nice soft, natural fiber that breathes, unlike so many of the cheap steampunk skirts out there. I love the vibrant color and will buy this skirt in another color or two!

Passt perfekt, sieht super aus und ist sehr gut verarbeitet. Auch der Stoff ist toll. Der Versand hat relativ lange gedauert, der Artikel kam aber auch aus dem Ausland. Ich erhielt einen Anruf und eine E-Mail vom Zoll in der ich gebeten wurde den Artikel und meine Adresse zu bestätigen. Das hat mich zuerst etwas stutzig gemacht und ich war mir nicht sicher, ob ich dem trauen kann, aber ich hab dann doch darauf reagiert und es war alles ehrlich und kein Problem.

This is the first review I felt excited enough to write about. To begin with it’s a nicely made quality garment.That’s half the battle won already. Cotton feel and the white in particular being sheer but could be fixed easily with short shorts or half slip. Next, it is extremely feminine and can be worn cute, sexy, dressy or even casual. Soooo much more than a costume skirt and really works excellent for that country girl that’s waiting to come out! I bought other colors as well in a small, I would say this fits very true to size if not with a bit of extra in waist due to back band on waistline being stretchy. Free flowing and comfortable. Easy to manipulate the length with ties to each side, and would be flattering on both heavier hipped gals and especially girls who would like to have the impression of curvy hips. My measurements are waist 28”, hip 38”. Athletic build. Go for something original that you could wear as a lovely outfit while keeping it for your next costume party if needed! 👢🌹⭐️
