Very nice quality construction and I like the shorter length of the axle going into the pedal body. These spin easily (maybe that's the triple bearing design? - don't know for sure but regardless they spin VERY smoothly) and have a stable and comfortable platform. I wanted a larger platform since I ride in the rain and wanted something that would fit my feet when I have my rubber shoe covers on - this pedal works perfectly for that. The pedal body extends 3-1/2" out from where the axle enters and they are 3-3/4" wide across so that is a very good sized platform. The studs grip well - no slipping there. The pedal is finished very nicely and looks GREAT. They are also surprisingly light at 350 grams for the pair on my postage scale. I'm going out on a limb here and saying these are easily the best value for money of any similar pedal out there. Great performance, great looks, light weight and last but not least you get a very nice hex key for installing the pedals (these do NOT have flats on the axle for a regular wrench, the end of the pedal shaft has a hex head and you use the included hex key to tighten/loosen the axle for installing or removing the pedals. I just bought a 2nd pair because I can't believe they are going to continue offering a pedal this nice at such a low price.
