Mostly works, but the little ball often sticks and doesn’t indicate the correct angle. I’d opt for one with a bubble.

Purchased this to allow me to see the angle of my tractor. While it worked for a while over the summer of 2024 the glass cylinder the ball rolls in shattered and made the unit inoperable.I would look elsewhere.

Works well. Applies easily.... I put it on my tractor's sunshade, just in front and above eye level so I can see it easily.

It may work when motionless, unless the ball sticks, which it sometimes does. When placed on a riding lawn mower to monitor tilt angles, it is useless. There is no damping, and the ball just rolls all over the place.

Got this for mowing equipment to watch side slope angle. It works great, good adhesive and easy to read. It does seem to have lost its dampening fluid, so now it bounces around constantly. Essentially have to stop for a 10 seconds to let the ball stop and see where it reads. Ball still moves very freely. Not sure what happened to damping fluid, did it evaporate?

I stuck this clinometer in the windshield of my John Deere tractor as a reference to keep me off of slopes that are to steep. I bush hog several slopes and wanted a way to know when I was reaching the danger zone other than "the seat of my pants". With this gauge I now know the slope of the hills I currently mow and I will not exceed that slope on hills I am unfamiliar with. Also, when I let someone else drive my tractor I am able to give them a never exceed angle.

Nice inexpensive tilt meter. The fluid seems to viscous to it's prone to swinging erratically as I offroad. Then again, it wasn't made for that activity. Still, the fluid should be less viscous. Good buy for the money.
