The Rich Get Richer and the Poor Get Prison (10th Edition) 10th Edition

This book really got my gander up. His observations are reflective of the current state of society. I recommend this book to everyone who is interested in social justice and/or the criminal justice system. A must read for my classes (Assoc. Prof.. Sociology)!

I wish I could buy copies of this book to hand out to almost anyone who starts pontificating about how our criminal justice system works.

I needed the book for class. There was "USED" tape all over the outside, but the pages seemed fine.

Great condition

Required reading in U of A criminology and absolutely wrong. It attempts to further easily disproven Marxist and postmodern alternate reality and is dangerously pathological. Every claim is easily disproven by statistics and basic historical facts. This book is dangerous anti-American propaganda and is clearly one of the influences resulting in riots and violent activism over the last few years. It should be a part of no school curriculum except in studying ideologies that fuel domestic terrorism.

This book depicts the double standards of the powerful over the least resourceful members of society in terms of how harmful behaviours are classified.

Very insightful book used for my joint honours degree.

Was just what my friend needed for his study.
