Slight reshaping may be required to maintain good form.  We do not recommend machine wash as it will decrease lifespan of cat cave and we do not want your lovely kitty be without our cave))  However we've received messages that some cat parents washed it in machine on delicate, cold water and then air dried.  Regards,  Nick **Q: There is a vertical crease on the top, causing it to cave a bit, instead of being rounded. Is there something I can do to fix it? Heat maybe?** A: Thanks for your question.I was able to make a perfect form of the cave by stuffing 2-3 old pillows/blanket/cloth inside (it should be really tight) and just leave it for a few hours. After this procedure it's holds shape just perfect! Also you can try to put it in the drier unit for 30 minutes. Both methods absolutely safe for caves, because it really sturdy and made to last for years.Hope this info useful.Regards **Q: where is this made?** A: Nepal **Q: Are these beds washable?** A: I'm surely going to wash mine at some point. I think like all wooll products, you're safe if you wash in cold water using Woolite and drip dry in the tub. I wouldn't toss in a washer unless on gentle / cold, and I definitely wouldn't wash on warm or hot or put in a dryer.. It's wool. ## Frequently Bought Together - MEOWFIA Cat Cave – Premium Felt Cat Bed for Indoor Cats, Handmade 100% Merino Wool (Dark Shades) (Large, Dark Grey) - MEOWFIA Cat Cave – Premium Felt Cat Bed for Indoor Cats, Handmade 100% Merino Wool (Light Shades) (Large, Light Grey) - MEOWFIA Wool Ball Toys - 6-Pack of Safe for Cats and Small Dogs Balls - 1.5 Inch Felted Wool Cat Toy and Dog Toy - Perfect with Cat Cave - Silent - Mini Tennis Balls - (2in/Aquamarine) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/40941676-meowfia-cat-cave-new-zealand-wool-bed-for-indoor-cats](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/40941676-meowfia-cat-cave-new-zealand-wool-bed-for-indoor-cats) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
