I live on the second floor, and before using these Nicoman treadmill mats, the noise and vibrations from my exercise equipment used to bother my downstairs neighbor. First, I didn't buy these (pack of 4) pads for exercise equipment. I purchased them specifically to isolate a Freeview box and Hi-Fi speakers that are sitting on metal framed tables with glass tops.The hard disk inside our freeview recorder has been annoying us as it is very noisy indeed and resonates through the table top and produces a very loud hum when on. And, even though I don't play music loud, when I played music our hefty little speakers would also cause the tables to 'ring' and vibrate a bit at certain frequencies.Both of the things above have been irritating us (myself and my wife) for a long time. But all is now well and I don't have to get rid of the tables as my solution worked perfectly.For the speakers I used a hand saw to carefully cut approx 1/3 (maybe slightly more) off of 2 pads. I then cut both of the 1/3s in half as well to make a total of 4 small feet, so 2 for the fronts of each speaker. The 2 remaining larger 2/3 pieces I used as single 'feet' for the backs of the speakers.I stuck the pad pieces to the speaker bases using a pritt stick so they could, if needed, be removed easily without damaging the speakers. The pads are bevelled so I stuck the pieces so that the bevelled edges face out. The speakers no longer make the tables 'ring' and they do not move a mm as the mats have a slight grip due to the texture of the rubber.For the Freeview recorder I cut 1 pad into four. As above, I stuck the pieces to the base of the Freeview box with a pritt stick with bevelled edge facing out. Worked perfectly. I can hear the whirring of the disk when it starts up, which you do with all disks unless they are SSDs, but not a peep from the table it is on. No resonating 'hum' at all. So that sorted too.Anyway, I have 1 of the 4 pads left for something else.

I am using these, as protection for when I store my treadmill vertically. I did try them, under the wheels, but they made my walking pad more noisy. Nice and thick.

Bought two packs of 4 to place under a mini-bar fridge that vibrates the wooden cabinet it's in and the washing machine. Night and day difference to both appliances - all vibrations and humming noises through the floor and furniture were instantly insulated. The pads are very thick and impossible to squish with bare hands, and they have no problem with the weight of the washing machine compressing them to the point of being useless - To my eye they haven't compressed at all actually!They are easy to install, match the stated size and being made of a quality rubber compound don't slip when in use. The rubber can also be a negative as fresh out the packing they smell like rubber (obvs!) and have a slightly rough edge that leaves small deposits after placement. The smell goes away after a few days in the air.

Coaster in size and works

I purchased these mat pads for my rebounder as I often bounce on a wood floor upstairs which causes noise to the floor below. They are a decent thickness and good quality, although they do leave tiny dots of rubber behind if you move them a lot like I do. I was concerned that they were shifting very slightly under the rebounder legs so I have stuck pieces of non-slip mat on top for a secure hold. I am sure that they are perfect for heavier gym equipment such as a treadmill as they are very sturdy. However despite them not being used quite as intended they work perfectly for my needs and there is a definite reduction in noise. I would have preferred the pads to be larger but they are working well regardless.

Good quality material but far to small for any automatic incline treadmill as any incline causes the treadmill feet and rollers to fall off the pads

I bought these to help isolate my 3d printer after I built a new enclosure. I was finding that due to the surface the 3d printer (ender 3) was sat on, it was getting a resonance 'hum' through certain movements, which for an overnight print is just a no. So I figured I need a thick rubber block of high density, like the mat we put under our washing machine, which is what these are. They have been running for a while now and I think I might need another set for my other printer as they do such a great job!
