I bought this stand to go with my La Siesta Hammock Chair. The spreader bar for the chair was wider than the stand, so I end up sitting at an angle which works out great.Packaging: The package came damaged with wholes and water damage. Once I opened the package, it was obvious that the box had been in the rain as there was rust stains throughout the packaging as though water had gotten into the metal tubes, rusted, and then the rusty water had deposited that rust onto the packaging. I was dissapointed that little care was taken in this item's storage, shipping, or both.After taking all the Pieces out of the box and then cleaning off as much rust as we could reach, we found the exterior of the stand was relatively unharmed. I am concerned that in the future structural integrity will be compromised, but because of how well the outside is painted, I may not notice.Putting it together was easy. It was obvious how the parts fit together. The problem is putting the canopy onto the vertical supports. One side clipped in, but the other has yet to completely fit. My husband even suspended himself off the frame and the bar simply will not click into place.In the end, would I buy a stand similar to this again? Absolutely, with one caviat. I would definately make sure it went together correctly before buying and would want to see/touch before buying.Also - If you're about 5'-2" or shorter, you may want to get a carabiner to lower your chair an inch or two or you'll have problems getting in.

OMG. Is all I can say!!! I have had a hammock chair for at least a decade. I ve had 2houses and no where to hang it, and I didn't want to place it outside, I hate bugs. I've been at my present house for quite awhile and had an open patio that I had screened in-12x12- the aluminum roof wasn't sturdy enough to hang, and well and behold this great stand-which I just happened to stumble across. I don't know how I found it but I am so grateful I did!!! So easy to put together and holds my 130# just fine. It's a small enclosed porch so I could not fit the ones withe C arm. Well I am finally in heaven, my large parrot cage and 2 large dog beds all work together with room to spare. So very happy with this purchase

What caught my eye on this stand is the weight it can hold, 450 lbs.! I have a family member who has a hammock chair but no stand for it. I got this knowing it will hold the weight. It was put together within minutes! SO easy to install!Also like that the stand doesn't take up a lot of space. It is more upright instead of hanging over on one side. Very sturdy. Family member was sitting in hammock chair in no time at all! Love this chair stand! This was a gift that made a family member smile and trust that they can sit in hanging chair and it will hold!

Needs more bolts - not real secure

We purchased this sturdy chair/hammock as a break time activity for our students and they love it! It is set up next to a wall mounted mirror and we use it to do timing training on The Interactive Metronome for those individuals who are having executive function (ADD/ADHD) issues and failing in school. It promotes balance as well as a place where they can feel a safe relaxing environment surrounding them. Arrived quickly. Bought this for the back patio because we already had a hammock chair just nothing to hang it on. Very sturdy as long as you don't swing back and forth quickly. Bigger than I expected, some say the chair hangs low, we did not find that to be the case...it hangs perfectly.

At this point I love the stand. Well made and different than the C stands one usually sees. Will have to see how it holds up after as season or two but it seems to be very well built.
