Product description Review: Works super well and smells amazing. - For years, I have been on the search for a non-aluminum deodorant that is in a plastic-free container. I got close with the little glass pots of Schmidt's, which is also a really good product, but it was bit too messy for my lifestyle and I wanted something I could throw in a bag and not have to scoop out. I had one of their other flavors last year - i think it was Rosé - and it smelled nice and worked decently. I decided to risk it with the Earl Grey & Mulberry. It. Smells. So. Good. Like earl grey tea and a pleasant, fresh perfume--but a light perfume, not heavy at all. The first few days I wore it, I kept smelling something nice when I was in the pool and all of a sudden realized it was from the deodorant when I was doing particularly vigorous skimming and vacuuming. I can occasionally skip a shower day or two when I go swimming and am being lazy, and this keeps me stank-free with no reapplication. And damnit if my pits don't smell amazing. Review: My favorite deodorant! - This stuff works amazing! I apply it at night before bed and I’m feeling/smelling fresh all night and all through the next day. When I fished the tube I tossed it in my compost pile & it broke down in 3 weeks! The Bergamont and mulberry sent is lovely :)

Earl Grey & Mulberry Scent is perfect
I’ve been using Native deodorants for a while now and I actually really like the brand. Scent: The earl grey and mulberry is actually very clean and crisp smelling. It reminds me a lot of the green tea type scents you would find at a higher end spa. Slightly floral, citrusy, and not over whelming. This is great if you are particular about anything remotely sweet smelling. Deodorant properties: Works great even in hot Hawaii weather. If you tend to sweat a lot you may need to reapply. For those new to natural deodorant this will keep you dry, but it won’t you up to stop you from sweating. It is NOT an anti-perspirant. Plastic Free Package: Could be better. It’s a push up that does slide up and down too easily during application. Tip is to push up the amount of product you want, then squeeze the tube along the sides while applying so it doesn’t slide back down. It is a pain, but I’d rather deal with this than add to the plastic pollution.

Doesn’t hold up to texas heat for me
My coworker swears by this brand, so I tried it out. I like how they make their products, including the cardboard container. I will use this stick for the weekends, when I don’t mind if I’m kind of smelly, but I can’t use it at work. I smelled so bad by the end of the day- and I work with teenagers, so I don’t want to be the “smelly teacher”. It does work well for my coworker, but not for me- so I guess you’ll have to try it to see if it works for you.

No plastic is bonus
Very pleased with the Native no plastic option and have not had any issues using the push up container. The Native brand works well for me compared to other deodorants I have tried (Megababe, Kopari). Love the variety of scents. Currently using Lavender Rose and like that it is not overwhelming.

Great scent
Really like the scent on this one, also like the option for a plastic free container.

Plastic free, but at what cost?
I desperately wanted to like this because I wanted a plastic-free deodorant. And it is that. It also smells good. So, two stars for that. But in all other respects it did not work for me. The biggest strike against it is that my skin didn't approve. I developed small bumps wherever applied. It's the only deodorant I've tried that had that effect on my skin, though I do have sensitive skin in other respects. It is also not particularly good at masking or stopping odors (to my nose), so I began to use it only in the winter, while quietly working at home (never working outside, in the summer, or hiking). Finally, it had the common short falling of many cardboard deodorant packaging: the edges started to weaken, making it more and more difficult to put the lid back on. And it cost about 3x as much as my old deodorant. So as much as I wanted to love a plastic-free alternative, this just didn't work for me.
