It’s good ol’ MSG, a must have for any modern kitchen. Reasonably priced and enough for like a year in my kitchen. I haven’t directly compared the flavor of this and other brands but it tastes like it should. It’s MSG. Get it, keep it in your kitchen, experiment with it, and it’ll enhance virtually all your savory cooking.

Very nice addition to my cooking. I’ve been using this MSG seasoning for a while now and it has become a solid addition to my kitchen. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It boosts flavor without changing the character of the food. A small amount brings out savory depth in meats, vegetables, soups, and stir-fries in a way salt alone just can’t. I like that it’s plant based and gluten free, and the large bottle lasts a long time since you only need a light sprinkle. Used reasonably, it hasn’t caused me any issues at all. Like any seasoning, moderation matters, but there’s nothing inherently problematic about MSG when it’s not overused. This is especially useful if you cook simple or clean meals and want more flavor without piling on sauces or excess salt. It enhances what’s already there instead of masking it. Overall, a great value and a useful tool for anyone who enjoys cooking flavorful food without overcomplicating things.

More flavor than table salt, 2/3's LESS sodium. Only other considerations might be iodine in table salt may be beneficial and not present in MSG. I like the flavor in a small amount of MSG.
