This item is very handy to have to mix my drinks and to beat an egg. It is portable and can be taken anywhere and a good value for your money

I've owned a couple types of frothers now, and this one is---by far---my favorite. I love that when you let go of the button it just stops (helping to prevent overflow accidents). The other frother I have is just an on/off button and doesn't always stop in time. I leave that one at another home for use when the house isn't rented. This frother is comfortable and easy to use and, with good batteries (I use rechargeables) plenty powerful. I use heavy whipping cream in my coffee, and this frother does a fair job of whipping it before I've added the coffee and after. So when it died after 9 months of daily use (multiple times daily) I was sad, but came here anyway to purchase a replacement. While reviewing the description I saw that Bean Envy offers a lifetime warranty. I wanted to get another frother on the way so I went ahead and ordered one from Amazon, then contacted Bean Envy about the non-functioning one. Customer service replied within MINUTES to ask where they could send the replacement. I replied but let the Amazon order stand---with Prime, I knew I would have one back in-house within two days, and I had no idea how long the replacement from customer service would take. Well, the one from Bean Envy's customer service arrived today, BEFORE the one I ordered from Amazon. So I was able to use it to make my coffee, and of course it works great. I'll be saving the one I ordered again from Amazon either as a backup in case this happens again, or to give as a gift to a coffee-loving friend or family member. So to wrap up, know that Bean Envy's customer service is top-notch, and when they say "lifetime warranty" they MEAN it. Buy with confidence! UPDATE: Once again, the frother has kicked the bucket, and once again, Bean Envy customer support has come through, even sending me a different color this time. Again, great frother, and the lifetime warranty is no joke!

So far so good. Bought this as part of a health themed gift. I swear by milk frothers for quick dissolving and mixing of powder supplements into coffee, or simply nondairy milk or plain water. Quicker, easier than pulling out a mixer, less obnoxious than using a shaker cup. I still use all those things, but I find myself grabbing for the frother nearly all the time. I also like it better than just a spoon for swirling coffee syrup, honey etc. And yes, it also works nice to froth up some milk. I assumed the recipient would also fall in love with it, but we will see. Comes with a stand. Just need to add 2 AA batteries. I preinstalled some as part of the gift. Battery compartment was a little tricky. Need to keep the ribbon tucked deep down in place lest the battery will not sit evenly. Dont want to avoid using the ribbon as this is what helps take the batteries out when the time comes. I had tried that option and got freaked out when I couldnt easily take out battery. I had to smack the handle to get it to pop out. So yeh, keep the ribbon in place. Then with the cover, you will need to tuck the ribbon in or the cover wont snap locked. As for performance, just press button on top. I think keep pressing to keep it going. Stop pressing to turn it off. Rinse then put in its stand. I only did a quick test before tucking back into box and giving it as gift. I will update if I hear anything more about it. I intend to ask.

I have to admit- I didn't buy this for frothing- as I don't really care for frothed drinks. I wanted something small that I could whip up a single scrambled egg quickly, without having to use my large egg beaters and a good-sized bowl, or have my corded Braun hand-held blender sitting on my counter, or have to dig it out from the back of my cabinet. This worked perfectly and it's so small I don't even notice it on the counter, in it's stand (9" x 1 3/4"). My egg came out light and fluffy- just like with an egg beater. I used a small ceramic coffee cup and a titch of milk. (No spraying everywhere! Very quick, easy, and tasty.) Just for the heck of it- I tried it in my left-over 1/2 of a medium luke-warm cup of McDonald's coffee (cream + 1 sugar) and I got froth! (I only had 1/2 left in a medium sized cup so I didn't notice any spraying mess. Not sure how easy it would've been with a full HOT cup?) I tried it with 1 tablespoon of regular half and half in a small coffee cup, with my hand blocking the top- and nothing happened after a good minute of frothing, except to have my hand covered in half and half. (I guess you do really need cold cream in a cold container, if you want whipped cream.) I was hoping I could use my regular ingredients to whip up an individual, lighter calorie, portion of whipped cream. Disappointed. ; ( The only 2 cons I have- is that you need to hold it up-right, down VERY LOW in the sink when cleaning or you'll end up spraying everything in sight- including yourself! (I tried to hold my hand around it and accidentally hit my finger- OUCH! Don't do that.) Yes, it's that strong. And also, it's a very tight fit to put the 2 AA batteries (not included) in this. Make sure you use the little ribbon that's attached or you'll never get them back out again. And follow the + and - signs inside the battery cavity (one goes up, and one goes down.) Now to see how long it lasts.....

This little gadget is terrific, how did I live without it for so long! I've seen these frothers for a while but thought, who needs another gadget that only does one thing? Now I wish I'd bought it sooner. My husband and I take powdered collagen 2 times a day and it takes a while to mix it in with a spoon, sometimes I ended up with tiny globs of gelatin stuck in the bottom of the glass-yuck. He would complain every single day about it. But it was too much of a hassle to get out a hand mixer and a bowl every time. Now I use this frother and it mixes all the powder up in a few seconds, then rinse it off under the faucet, press the button to spin dry & hang it back in the stand. Some of the other frothers I looked at didn't have a stand but this one has a nice stand that holds the frother while drip drying and keeps it handy on the countertop, which was a big plus for me. The stand is a lightweight metal so you have to be careful when replacing the frother as the empty stand can fall over if you bump it. On the plus side it's light enough to easily move around. Also the company says it offers a lifetime warranty, another plus. It uses two AA batteries. The compartment is on the back, you pop off the plastic cover and it has a black ribbon in the cavity to pull on and help to remove the battery to change. When you put in a new battery just make sure that the end of the ribbon wraps over the battery so you can grasp it next time you need to change it. I've had mine for about a month and a half, use it around 4 times a day, and I just put in a new battery. It wasn't dead but had begun to slow down and I like it at full speed so I went ahead and put in a fresh battery. I don't drink coffee because I have a weakened adrenal system so no caffeine. Instead I drink Teeccino Teeccino Variety Pack (Vanilla Nut, French Roast, Chocolate) Chicory Herbal Coffee, Caffeine Free, Acid Free, 11 Ounce (Pack of 3) . I use this frother to mix goat milk powder into the brewed Teeccino and it does a great job thoroughly blending the powder and making some nice fluffy froth. It is a strong little motor and quickly whips up powdered or liquid milk, cocoa mix, and even an egg for scrambling (I only eat 1 egg with some milk so I don't know if it will whip several eggs or not). Only fill the cup or pitcher part way, making sure you leave enough room or it'll froth over the side. It hardly makes any noise just a quick whirring sound. Other reviewers complained about the button on top, which was a concern for me since I have arthritis in my hands, but since I'm holding it down for only a few seconds it isn't a problem for me. This is such a handy little gadget and fun to use. Even my husband likes to mix his own beverages, & then looks around for other stuff to whip! Although I typically don't like gadgets that serve only 1 purpose I make an exception for this one. It turns a tedious job into a quick one. I would definitely recommend this product. UPDATE: March 9, 2019 My frother died. I emailed the company & guess what??? They actually honored the lifetime warranty, sending me a new frother right away. 5 days later I'm frothing again! Easy peasy! Nowadays it's rare to find a company that will so quickly honor the warranty. Not only do they make quality products but they stand behind them, valuing their customers after the sale. I purchase a lot of kitchen appliances & I'm very impressed with this company. I'll highly recommend Bean Envy.

Update 8/10/21 - over several years, my frother was being replaced when it failed. This time it lasted over a year instead of just 3 months. They state a lifetime warranty, but it seems I am not getting a response to my request for replacement any more, so I must no be lifetime. Update 6/3/20 - I have received the replacement. This baffles me. I use this daily, and it has failed several time about at about 4 months average. The replacement is lifetime, but having to replace it every 4 months or so for lifetime is a pain, but the fact they keep replacing it is a good thing, but I have mixed and confused thoughts about it. They get 5 stars for warranty support, but 1 star for reliability. 3 stars seems to be the best overall I can give this. But when it works, it does a great job. I have looked at other similar units, and they all seem to have the same issue somewhat, Why? Not sure they all have a lifetime warranty. Update 5/31/20 - I have lost track of how often this thing fails. This is 3rd or forth time. Let's see if they replace again. Update 10/2/19 - I received the replacement frother. I must say, I am impressed with the warranty and the speed of the issued being addressed. However, to be fair, I cannot give a 5 star rating overall, only 4 star overall. This is due to the mutiple issues with the product. But the service is 5 star. I would like to think these issues are rare, but I can't give the benefit of the doubt after two failures of the product. I tend to think, the issue is the motor, maybe the contactors wear out quick, not sure. I do use this product everyday. I would recommend this product, at least until I find something better. Update 9/29/19 - Replacement unit died again. Use this daily. Was five star review due to replacement of first one. Since this is an on going issue, I am lowering to 2 star review. Will raise or lower review based on response to second failure. Seems they only last about 4 months. I see other units that look similar with different branding, but are possibly the same construction. May be good to stay away. Having to replace every 4 months can end being a pain in the a**. Will keep you updated on warranty replacement. They stated lifetime warranty. Not sure how they can keep that up. I can't be the only one with this issue. I will be looking at other products to see if there are better options that are reliable. Update: 4/18/19 - Recieved replacement, could not have been simpler. I would highly recommend this company. Update: 4/12/19 - Bean Envy is sending a replacement. They responded quickly. Original Review: 4/11/19 - After 4 months, it has failed. Changed batteries twice. Will only start to turn if I help it by spinning the whip with my fingers. I seem to remember this having a good warranty. I will soon find out

I have only had this frother for a month, but it is already a staple on my coffee bar. I used to use the mesh filter frother that came with my Ninja coffee bar but that was such a hassle to clean and it was a 50/50 shot it frothed the milk properly. This frother on the other had is perfect! Cleaning is a breeze. Right after frothing, I just run the wand piece under water and put it back on the provided stand to dry. It also froths great too. My first time using it I didn't quite understand how to properly froth the milk to get a nice foam. By my second time, I was easy. It only takes 15-20 second to get a good froth. I found tilting my pitcher and starting from the bottom but immediately moving to the surface really got the vortex going and made a significant amount of froth going. When I first started using it, I had my mason jar while my pitcher was on order. And It worked just as well in the jar than in my pitcher. I found you can really use this in any type of container to mix whatever liquids you need. Sometimes I'll brew my coffee on top of some chocolate sauce and after its brewing, I’ll give the coffee a quick little jolt to mix it a little bit. Since I have only had it for a month, I cannot attest to the battery life but even if tomorrow that battery died, I would not have any qualms. It uses two AA batteries. It did not come with batteries, but that didn’t upset me one bit. If someone can purchase this but doesn’t have batteries on hand or can’t purchase a small pack then that is their problem. All in all, perfect little frother and super easy to use!

This whisk is perfect for coffees, hot chocolate and milkshakes. Just don't fill your mug to the top as its really quite powerful! Very easy to clean, just run it under the tap.
