If you are a high school student who wants to go beyond the superficial introduction to premodern East Asian history presented in your text book -- or a teacher who wants to get a deeper understanding of the complex historical relationship between Korea, China, and Japan -- this is the book for you. Also very suitable for college courses.

For a college level text book, I really enjoyed reading this. It is very easy to read and understand and the index in the back is excellent for quick finding anything. I'll be keeping this book instead of reselling it.

I used this for my East Asian History course in college. The organization of the chapters is a little confusing, but it arrived quickly in pristine condition and has a lot of information.

Good textbook, well written and the layout is easy to follow, everything is titled so it's easy to find information with the titles and subtitles

Covers China, Japan, Korea, and a bit of Vietnam and Mongolia.
