Great value for the money!
My husband wanted this bidet and I must say it was a fabulous purchase! Ease of cleaning was so simple and the weight was premium sized & super sturdy no issues whatsoever to install. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a bidet. We did need an extra part at one time after we purchased it and just reached out to the manufacturer and they were so kind and sent to us that no charge but Iโm so pleased with this purchase!

Elderly person loves the bidet feature!
We purchased this for an elderly person, as suggested by physical and occupational therapists. She absolutely loves it! She doesn't know how she got along without it all these years. It was not difficult to install and has worked perfectly. I personally like the quiet-close lid, as a regular toilet seat lid can slam if the person doesn't have a good grip. Just one caution: if you have an assistive device, like arms, to help the person rise from the toilet, you may have to leave the lid open to make everything fit. But that isn't a real issue, especially if only one person uses that particular toilet.

If you can keep the seat from leaking, it works well.
Others have shared how difficult it is to prevent this seat from leaking. I had the same issue. Where the l-shaped fitting on the hose meets the seat, it is very easy to cross-thread. I had a nagging leak at the seat and I had to torque down the tightening nut more than any plumbing fixture should ever have to be tightened. I was expecting at any moment for the plastic threads on the seat to snap. If I ever have to remove the seat, Iโd likely use pipe dope on the threads on the chrome hose attachment. After fixing the leak, the seat functioned well and it fits the oversized Kohler commode well, although you lose quite a lot of bowl area near the back of the commode. I typically love Kohler products but this one is just mediocre in terms of design and build quality. Not sure I could recommend this seat, but after buying and returning another brand due to poor fit, I went with the Kohler to ensure the seat would fit the larger, elongated bowl of my Kohler commode.

Leaks!!!!
The supply line end that connects to the seat leaks and is loose despite tightening the connection resulting in terrible water leak spraying all over. Terrible product!

How Far Does Your Flush Handle Stick Out?
I installed this on an American Standard 4149A that has a Moen Brantford flush handle. This particular flush handle sticks out about 1-3/4" from the tank and that's too far for this toilet seat. The hinge for the top is at the very back, near the tank. With this seat installed so that the front is even with the front of the toilet, that's not far enough forward that the lid can be lifted past vertical before making contact with the flush handle so the lid will not stay up. I would have had to move the seat about 1" forward for it to work in my situation, which meant it would be hanging off the front of the toilet. I just changed everything in this half-bath to Moen Brantford so I'm not changing the flush handle. I didn't read about this problem in any other reviews so I didn't think about it. If you're concerned about this, measure straight down from the end of your flush handle then measure forward from the there to the front of your toilet bowl. Compare that to the dimensions of this seat to see if it will work. If your flush handle is on the side of your tank or you have a flush button on the top of the tank, you shouldn't have any problems. Since I do like this seat, I installed in another bathroom that has a flush button on the top of the tank. I had planned to run electricity to that toilet so I could install one with heated water. If that never gets done, at least I have this in there. Installation is very easy. I hand tightened everything then a quarter or half turn more. Nothing leaked anywhere, including at the Fluidmaster fill valve that other have reported having problems with. I did attach the hose to the seat before installing the seat. It does make that part a little easier but if you have working room on that side of the toilet, I don't think it matters if you do this first or not. The seat mount is solid, I had no problems with it. Its also very adjustable so I'm sure it will work as long as you don't run into the problem above. I really do like the M300 but I'm going with 4 stars. My flush handle sticks out a little more than most but its not oddly out there. I think this seat could have been made in a way that it could have worked for me. Kohler, ask your engineers to design this with just a little more flexibility.

Product met all my expectations
I am so very happy with this product. I have used the other type of bidets for a few years but like others this beats them all. I like the low profile and the easy clean. It definitely seems sturdy compared to the other products. Thank you Kohler for making a great product and for amazon for the nice packaging.

It does the work and it is very easy to install.
(1) I was able to install this in less than 10 min (you'll only need an adjustable wrench). It is not as comfortable as the pure tide but overall, I like the design better. IMHO it is better designed than the Kohler Puretide. (2) Pressure is good to get rid of those nasty brown particles and leave the area sparkling clean. (3) It is important to note that you must connect the end of the white hose, the one that has the filter in it , to the seat and not to the three-way joint. I did this and I couldn't figure out why it was leaking water. I had no clue that the hose had a filter since other Kohler Bidet seats have the filter inside the seat. So, for those that are complaining about leaks: Make sure the white hose is properly installed with the filter next to the seat. Let's see how much it will last. My previous Kohler bidets (puretide) had issues and Kohler sent me replacements (loss of water pressure inside the seat, wand leaking). During that time, my experience with Kohler customer service was very very good (they sent me a new bidet without giving me a hard time)

Not polished chrome handle.
Handle was a white plastic. Not a polished chrome handle from seller image. Otherwise I would give 5 stars.

Reasonably good Bidet seat
Good replacement, T pipe joint thread was not a good fit, need to get a new one from hardware store to fit. Other than that, it works well.
