These are perfect for inserting any suppository

This item is practically perfect. Well designed, individually wrapped, comfortable to use. The only shortcoming being that the device does not easily accommodate the size of the medication indicated for my application. If it held a little larger suppository it would be six stars! It may be available for somewhat larger meds, but I was unable to find it on the site.But overall it is an outstandingly useful device that makes reality a little less daunting.

Purchased for use with Bonafide Revaree. One must position them upside down for insertion, which is not ideal, but does work. The applicators are not sharp or uncomfortable and that is what is most important. Will purchase again as they are adequate.

I am 17 weeks pregnant and found to be having complications. My docter has started me on progesterone vaginally until I am 36 weeks. I was advised on using my finger to insert the pill but I was fearful of infection. These applicators have not only made it so easy and safe to insert the pill it has also given me peace of mind that I am inserting it at the right depth to make sure THIS baby survives. I had a loss at 19 weeks gestation 2 years ago. I am determined to do whatever we have to get this baby home. These applicators are a crucial tool for me to make that happen. I am very pleased. Thank you.Anywho, about the product. I like that each applicator is individually wrapped and easy to access in a clear useable plastic pouch. I love that Amazon offers to have this automatically mailed every month, it is one less thing I have to worry about. The shaft of the applicator is smooth until a point where you will find elevated lines to let you know to stop inserting. The inner tube is not hard to push down and makes it so easy medicate yourself. Once I get to big to insert it myself I am confident my husband will be able to take over cause it's so easy to use. I haven't needed to use a lubricant as pregnancy takes care of that but if using these applicators for anything else lube mught be needed I just reccomend using a small amount as the tube really is very smooth.

Works — used Calmol 4 and no issue. This makes a difficult task easier. I didn’t give 5 stars because the edges are a bit rough and do cause a bit of discomfort.

I was nervous to spend the money on these for my progesterone suppositories, but WOW is this a game changer. I no longer have to worry as to whether I got the progesterone suppository up high enough and didn’t have to contort my body in order to get it as high as needed. It perfectly holds the 200 mg egg shaped Progesterone capsule in place until you are ready to place it where it needs to go. Some reviews mentioned it was sharp and pinched when being used, but it is completely smooth and did not hurt at all.

BEWARE!!! I am a retired RN. I decided to try this applicator for use with a Fleets glycerin suppository! I am almost 70 and used this 3-4 times for occasional constipation. ***ALERT- the insertion end is not tapered and not smooth. I, unfortunately, disregarded that concern of mine because of the positive reviews on this site. After using this product I developed sepsis ( bacteria in my blood) from a normal gastrointestinal bacteria entering into my blood system. The applicator may have cased an abrasion or small cut in my bowel due to its nonsmooth insertion tip. This allowed bowel bacteria to enter into my blood system. I developed a temperature of almost 104 F and felt dizzy and terrible. I was hospitalized and placed on IV antibiotics. Physicians including an infectious disease Dr all contributed my illness to the likely use of this applicator due to its non smooth non tapered design. I was told to never use this again. When I was sent home, I was asked to return to an infusion center daily for IV antibiotics. It was very stressful for me and who knows what my out of pocket cost will be. BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY, I could have DIED!I notified Amazon and spoke with a rep, but no response!

Since I started using boric acid supplements I have been looking for an applicator to make things easier. Most applicators are pretty expensive for only a few but this is a great value! They come individually wrapped so they stay sanitary and are very comfortable to use. There are absolutely no sharp edges and the ends are very smooth and round like a plastic tampon applicator. The applicator is completely hallow so it can be easily filled with creams or ointments if needed and your suppositories won’t fall out even if you’re clumsy like me
