Hand Warmers

These hand warmers are great. They last for at least 11 hours and provide excellent heating for the entire time. The price is very reasonable.

last about 8 hours which is what I was hoping for. they say 11 mine last 8. warm all night

This was recommended to me for my eye stye instead of using a sock full of rice and putting it in the microwave. This was a better alternative. I've put it on my eye for 15 minutes. It was the best thing ever!

It might be too hot for people with sensitive hands. Try to place it in the palm of the hands with gloves on.

Sport Temp 45 pair hand warmers: I opened the box upon arrival, carefully separated one pair, keeping half for future use. Shaking it for several minutes produced a slightly more than lukewarm temperature- but with consistent occasional shaking, it gradually got warmer, but I wouldn't call it "hot" by any means. After keeping a toasty warm level for 6 hours, I decided to put it in an airtight plastic bag to halt the chemical process. Several hours later, I opened the bag, repeated the shaking until it was warm again, and got an additional 5 hours of use. It went back into the plastic bag overnight. The next morning, I opened the bag, shook the package, and it again warmed up, though not quite as much as initially. More shaking produced more heat again. I expect this will continue to activate for -- who knows how long -- instructions on package DO tell you to reshake if it cools. Going into the second day of use, the warmth is still there with intermittent shaking. This has exceeded the 11 hours of "warm" use, albeit with spurts of cooling and shaking. This is my experiment. When it stops working, I'll toss it and open another. Overall, I am pleased but wish it got hotter. No matter, I count these packets as useful and you can place them in clothing next to your skin and benefit without having to spend lots of $$ on an electrical room heater, or at least spend less $$. I was really skeptical about these, never tried these before or the brand. But! They worked perfect. Just open bag, squeeze them, put them in your glove, and you're good to go. Intermittent heat. Also, at work, when going on break I was considered that I wasted the pair cuz I only had them on for about 4 hours. So I put them in a Ziploc bag, put them in my toolbox. Got back from break, and they still worked even after not having them in my glove for over an hour! I really think it's true to the 11 hours, cuz at the end of the day they were still warm.

We were on a one day walk out, with the temperature on the -28 range and a windchill of -36. It was a 4 hour shift and my hands were warm the whole time. There was a lot of life left in the warmers.

These warmers heat up quickly and last for at least the 11 hours . I gave them a shake every once in awhile and they stayed hot a lot longer . Excellent product!

Was out photographing the Milky Way in -15C and these did the trick. For the foot one be careful to not rip them when peeling off - quite the mess.
