Excellent machine for the price. Makes tasty coffee that is hot, not tepid warm - I always pour boiling water in my mug first to heat it before the coffee goes in. It has a large water tank so your no constantly filling it. All in all its easy to use, the milk frother can be a little messy but its reasonalby easy to clean.

This coffee machine is hands down the best I’ve ever owned. I was a bit sceptical about the price but it was on promotion so I was lucky! It’s definitely worth it. It’s light and doesn’t bounce when you lift the handle. The water capacity could be bigger but it’s fine as I’m the only coffee drinker here. I love the pod-adjustable feature for multi-functionality though ground coffee is farrrrrr superior! It also looks great in my kitchen and the coffee gets really hot so I can make it first and then have breakfast. It’s perfect for enjoying a hot drink while I eat. Plus it’s super easy to clean! I highly recommend it and I’m super pleased!

After working in hospitality serving frothy coffees and enjoying making them, I thought it was time I owned my very own coffee machine to make special frothy coffees at home! After a lot of researching to find the best basic coffee machine that fulfilled my needs, this one ticked all the boxes! It's neat, compact and easy to use. It comes with instructions and shows diagrams of how to set it up for the first time and takes minutes to clean too! It makes perfect frothy coffees and only takes about 5 minutes to wait to use the machine too! It makes one coffee in a decent size mug or two mini mugs at the same time. The only downside with this coffee machine is that a big mug won't fit on top of the drip tray when attaching the portafilter to the machine but you can easily remove the drip tray so not a problem. And the drip tray does come apart into layers so it's one less thing to wipe after using anyway. I have made teas and hot chocolates too using the steam wand, after finding out you can when reading the booklet, but the water has a plastic aftertaste so I make teas and hot chocolates using the kettle instead. Having the steam wand is the main reason for buying this particular machine to get frothy milk which as you can see in the photos has excellent results! It's great to add frothy milk to hot chocolates, chai teas to make chai lattes and for frothy coffee of course! If you are looking for a nice looking coffee machine that fits in your kitchen, creates special frothy coffees easily, then look no further! I have tried lavazza ground coffee for this machine. It's ok but found it's quite bitter, so won't need much coffee ground in one scoop. I would definitely recommend you buy this machine if you want that barista experience! All my family and friends love it! Now I enjoy making coffee in the morning :D I hope that De'Longhi continue to make such reliable coffee machines!

I bought this coffee machine mainly because it allows you to use both ground coffee and ESE pods. So I tried some ESE pods from one of the recommended brands and the coffee was awful – not creamy at all – so I thought: “What a terrible mistake I’ve made buying this machine!”. I decided to give it another chance and used ground coffee instead; the result was excellent. I also made a cappuccino with almond milk and was really pleased with the result. I’m going to buy a different brand of ESE pods to see if the result is any different.

Great value , good coffee and easy to use

I was very excited to get this, as I'd never owned an espresso machine before. The unit looks and feels great, despite the cheap price. However, despite running the cleaning cycle with filtered water through the device, 3 times more than suggested, the drinks it produces taste and smell of burnt plastic. Absolutely undrinkable. Returned.

A very nice machine, consistent results, reliable. It's not bean to cup but nice ground coffee is available. Here on Amazon. Usage : check the tank, which holds 3-4 cups, refill if necessary, wait until the OK light comes on, then switch the dial from a central position to 'coffee', and your cup starts to fill. If you want frothy milk, then switch the dial to 'steam wand' wait until the OK light comes on, like with the cup filling, then pour the frothy milk into your cup. That's it! Remember to obtain a frothing jug if you like your drinks quite creamy.

As an entry level coffee machine for the home this is great!! I have not cracked latte art yet as wand is quite thick but makes really decent espresso

This is an absolute wonderful machine, i have it already for 1.5 years and it is like day one. I just love how creamy the coffe is even after such a long time used EVERY DAY, sometimes more than 2 coffe/day. As long as you know how to use it and choose the right coffe, it cant go wrong. Also i had Delonghi around the house for ages so i know that they are made to last!!

The first shipment I received was opened, so I asked for a replacement. I like the machine. My parents 20 year old machine broke and they wanted a replacement, and this one is very similar to their old one. I really like the removable tank. I also like how small it is. For whatever reason, the dimensions aren't written here, but my father was able to find them on the company website.

Wer Espresso liebt sollte sie sich anschaffen.Eine ganz tolle Maschine....sieht super aus, ist leicht zu bedienen...ist nicht zu wuchtig in der Größe und der Espresso schmeckt einfach himmlisch. Noch zu erwähnen, daß das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis wirklich super ist. 👍💕🧜‍♀️🐟

This is the best home coffee machine I have seen for its affordable price. It has a stainless steel boiler compared to competitors' machines that usually use aluminum. The coffee it makes is so creamy and perfect for espresso, mocha, cappuccino, americano, latte, etc. After one month, it is still working perfectly; I hope this still stands for a number of years. I recommend its purchase.
