Typically liquid fertilizer is compatible, however I have seen some that are not. On our website we have a chemical compatibility chart that will help you or you can call us for assistance. **Q: Can this pump run a fire hose.?** A: The pump's outlet has a quick connect fitting ~ male ~ 2". I bought the corresponding female quick connect to threaded connector, a 2" to 1 1/2 " bushing and put a fire hose coupler, standard thread to fire hose thread on it. 1 1/2 " standard fire hose and a cheap wildland nozzle.
