Very good.
VERY bright. And so far they have lasted a good, long time without issue and in very hot and very cold temps. I use them outside of my garage and they brighten up my entire front-of-house. I wish they were cheaper, but I think, based on my experience with them so far, they are a good value.

Great light, greater value.
These 40w LED lights are awesome! Their brightness is perfect to light up an entire front yard area. I have used other brands that would light just the immediate area of the porch but not the area beyond the porch. This light manages to light up a greater radius. Provides more security. This is an excellent value.

VERY compact and VERY bright.
So bright it really is hard to look directly into it when you are close to it. In the past, when I wanted really bright light, say the equivalent of a 150W incandescent, you had to get a fairly sizable piece of hardware that most of the time won't fit in fixtures that were designed for old school filament bulbs. This solves that problem. The only question of course is, will it last as long as they say it will. Yes, there are always these wild claims that LEDs have these incrediblely long life-spans, and that is true...except when it isn't. The failure rate of LEDs is quite high -- and I work with all types on a daily basis in our office -- much higher than it ever was with regular filament light bulbs. LEDs don't usually fail out of the box, but I have seen may fail WAY sooner than what you would expect from even an incandescent bulb. There are a LOT of manufactures out there -- mostly all in China -- and I assume quality control is better at some than others. I promise I will report back to let you know what the lifespan of these two LEDs turns out to be.

Tiny But Mighty
Used two of these to replace two 100-watt incandescent bulbs that are confined in a very small translucent light enclosure in a garage door controller. The light was diffused and dimmed by the translucent enclosure shade, so we thought we would give these claimed 5000 lumens bad boys a try despite the terribly scary negative reviews showing melted plastic. Well, we have only had them a day, and so far we are more than satisfied. The lights normally only come on for a few minutes when the garage doors are operated, but they can be manually turned on and off; so even though they are enclosed, the hope is that they will never operate long enough to ever heat up to the point of self-destruction. They very obviously give off at least twice or more light intensity than the old 100-watt bulbs, and the bright light illuminates at least twice the area. I could easily believe that these claimed 5000 lumens LED lights produce the light equivalent of three 1600 lumens incandescent style 100-watt light bulbs. So now the side of the garage our cars drive into is getting bathed in a glorious 10,000 lumens bright light. NOTE OF INTEREST: We actually bought a two-pack of these and a two-pack of a nearly identical LED 5000 lumens light from ZP seller, and aside from the labeling stamped on the light, they are identical in appearance, sizing, and light output.

Nice and bright but only lasted just over a year
Bought these in late Dec. 2022 and installed them in two automatic fixtures outside the garage facing my driveway. They are nice and bright, good enough to provide light over the two-car driveway for my security camera to record in color during the night. Last night (2/15/24) my wife mentioned to me that one of them was not lit. Pulled it out and it appears that one of the LED strips got hot and melted and cracked the plastic shell (red arrow in one of the photos). Went back and looked at the camera recordings and saw that on 2/10/24 in the early morning, the light started decreasing in brightness. It should have remained steady throughout the dark hours. Props for being very bright; not so much for longevity or value for the money. $12.50 for a light that lasted under 14 months. LEDs are supposed to be long lasting so maybe these are being overdriven. It lasted through the summer months when it was fairly warm. It burned out when it wasn't that cold; maybe 40F. It's been colder than many times during the last two winters. The light fixtures are not totally sealed so heat from the lights should be able to escape. Both of them have spiders and webs inside.

Updated: Severe Fire Hazard: Be Careful - see pictures!!
7/3/2025 Updated Review: Whoa. Watch out! My original review was 5 stars; I am hereby updating it to 1 Star. Check out the pictures I attached. Yowza! I opened the light fixture because I decided to replace the fixture. The lights still worked. But look at them! I am in shock! This could easily have started a fire in my house! Each of these light fixtures is rated for 60 watts; these bulbs are supposedly 25 watts. They do not seem to run hot, but this is the status of the bulbs after are 2 years or less. Original Review: These lights are bright for sure and pure daylight. I myself am no fan of "daylight" color in a bulb; I prefer "soft white" which this is *not*. But my wife loves the color and brightness; just what the doctor ordered. Please understand that the color of this is very similar to a flourescent bulb. If you prefer incandescent bulbs, to not get this; instead, get a "soft white" bulb.

Superior Light Output!
Excellent light output. As you get older you find that you need more light to see effectively. Standard LED bulbs just don't produce enough light. These corn bulbs absolutely excel at producing very bright light.

Bright, Bright, Bright
These lamps increased the brightness of our office lobby by at least 35% and at a 1/3rd of the electrical consumption. These bulbs replace the LED bulbs installed only 4 years ago that looked like conventional light bulbs. Sadly, they did not last the 35000 hours as advertised when purchased. It is my sincere hope that these LED bulbs do better as they are the corn-cobb design and this type of bulb has worked very well for us in the past..

I installed these LED corn bulbs in my garage/workshop, and they produce a huge amount of light much brighter than my old incandescent bulbs. The light turns on instantly and fills the entire space with a clean, crisp 5000K daylight white, making it much easier to see and work. Great upgrade for anyone needing powerful, energy-efficient lighting in a large area.

Loved the lighting. I installed them in the chandelier at the end of May 2025 and one does not work anymore. Only turn them on in the evening and I’m sure they should last much longer. Now I have two that don’t work.

I bought these bulbs to light up my large and dark yard for my dog! I used to have to go out with a flashlight as the lights I had were not bright enough and didn’t provide light all the way to the back of my yard. These LED bulbs have not disappointed. I’ve had these bulbs for several months. They survived a mild Canadian winter, no problem. They are very bright and light up my whole yard. I love them!

Installed in November dead by April, used from 11pm to 8am daily, lasted approximately 1350 hours, while it worked they were bright and looked great, terrible lifespan, no where even close to what they claim the lifespan to be.
