Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, the WF-L900 works with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. You can set up these functions by using the Sony Headphones Connect app and set the function of either the left or right unit of the headset as the Google Assistant. Once the setup is completed, you may use this feature by simply tapping the headset or in the area near your ear quickly. How do use just the left earbud?

Hi jake, we appreciate your interest in our newest product. You can remove one unit of the headset from the charging case and use the unit by itself. In this case, only the unit that has been removed from the charging case will turn on. Even if you are using only one unit of the headset, you can play music with the unit you are wearing. When you play music or other stereo audio while wearing only one unit, you will hear monaural sound with the left and right channels mixed. Please check our Support site for more detail.
