Great size, exactly what I was looking for!

I like to mix my grains with my rice md hated having to use a strainer to wash my rice each time. This has made washing rice SO much easier. The holes are the perfect size to drain the water but I don’t lose any rice or grains including quinoa! It’s sturdy, easy to clean, and easy to use. I’ve already got my mom hooked on this product too. I highly recommend this.

I love this strainer! I mainly use it to rinse rice. I used to rinse rice right in the pot of a my rice cooker, but I wanted something that was more convenient and prevented me from losing rice as I was rinsing it. This holds a lot of rice and drains water well through the spout.In addition to rice, I also use to to clean and rinse fruits and veggies.The only bad thing is that stuff does get stuck in the holes. For instance, jasmine rice and broccoli gets caught in some of them. It isn't a bog deal at all, though. It is easy to clear out the holes with a toothpick.

This has made washing my rice so fast and simple.Only thing is the tiny holes the rice gets stuck in but not a serious issue

I bought this for rinsing my rice before I cook it and I started to use it for everything that I needed rinsing, like fruits and veggies. I love how easy and functional it is. Very pleased with it!

For long-grain rice, this little rice washer has been terrific! The holes are high enough for the rice to soak and/or to be swirled around in the water before straining and then the strainer can just be tilted to allow running water to wash over the rice and be strained through without losing any grains of rice. This rice washer/strainer is a good size for about two to three cups of rice to be washed. Also, this rice washer/strainer fits inside of other mixing bowls etc in the cupboard without taking up too much extra space at all. I have the green one and really enjoy using it and it makes me happy to have better rice. By the way, the rice is delicious and lighter tasting after bring washed clean of extra starch and random tiny discolored husks. Yum ! ................ NOTE: Long grain rice is what I use and it does not get stuck in the holes. Perhaps the type of rice is important regarding the holes in the strainer and rice getting or not getting stuck.
