The pack exceeds the EN ISO 15197:2015 international standard, with the convenience of a small (54mm x 83.5mm x 19mm) and lightweight (53g with battery) meter. This is important as it means the accuracy of the readings will not be impacted by extremes in HCT levels.Uses GDH-flavin adenine dinucleotide (GDH-FAD) Enzymes rather than Glucose Oxidase (GOD). Easy to use for my wife who has just been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. Results need dividing by 18 to get the standard number results used in the UK as there doesn’t seem to be a way to change the reading. No idea how accurate it is but if you’re only using one device there’s consistency to rely on. Seems to be quick and painless to use.
