Great so far.
My Craftsman compressor started leaking air at the regulator. At first I was going to buy a whole new regulator assembly and replace the whole thing. Then I saw this rebuild kit and decided to try it. It was very easy to take the old parts out and put these new parts in. Now my compressor works great again.

Brought my compressor back to life
Fixed a leaking regulator for a very small cost. I was so glad that it was cost effective because I was ready to throw the compressor out with the trash. Now, I have a perfect running old compressor.

Works but cant use large disk on D55168
I had a problem with an air leak, leaking past the regulator adjustment knob. In the kit,The large disk is too thick for model D55168 Dewalt upright, pressure cannot be regulated with this disk installed, pressure increases at same rate on both pressure gauges. At low pressure range this can be checked after turning on the compressor. At 40 psi try to adjust regulator below tank pressure. You should be able to adjust regulator pressure to 0, while tank pressure increases until pressure max shutoff. However, I used old disk, and it worked. My leak seemed to be in the plunger, i did use everything else except the disk and coated these components with lithium grease prior to assembly.

Absolute Garbage!!!
I don’t usually write reviews but this kit is junk. I was tightening down the new replacement nut in the back of the regulator and it snapped off inside the regulator manifold. So then I had to dismantle the whole compressor to remove the manifold and was lucky enough to get the broken piece out with a screw driver.
