Very lightweight, however it's very sturdy. It's cut really well and fits the ipod perfectly. The clip is exposed on the back which is really nice. You can wear it around your neck, and yet clip it to your shirt so it doesn't swing all over the place. So far this is my favorite ipod holder. I find it much less in the way than the wrist watch style holder (I manage to yank my headphones out of my ears constantly with wristwatch). The silicone is nice and soft so it doesn't irritate my neck when I wear it. It holds my screen protector in place really well too. Simple, sturdy, comfortable, and convenient.

Got for my mom… and it's her lifeline. When it broke (after close to a DECADE) she couldn't handle life and had me order another one stat! This little silicone thing is awesome for walking, driving, running, or not wanting to lose the tiny little nano. You do have to pull the casing back to charge or sync, but not for audio plug. Keep in mind it's not indestructible, but I was still surprised it lasted as long as it did.

My Nano fits perfectly in here. However, it doesn't work well with the Nike+ pedometer, because it just bounces around when walking, so it doesn't really count steps properly. But it's great for just listening to music. I switch between this necklace and a Nano watch, with no problems.

I bought this as a gift since my daughter has lost three iPods over the years but she loves to listen to music. So I decided to go with a snaller one that clips to her belt on jeans when running or exercising or around her neck when neeeded. She still has it and told me it has been great. Great purchase for a person who can't sit still long.

I only use this necklace case for the nano for running purposesit holds the nano perfectly in place, hasn't fallen out once. Great for running or if you are going on a long car ride and don't want to clip it to your shirt to listen to music

i love this thing. it's handy for changing tracks or pausing when needed. i don't like digging my ipod out of my pocket to adjust volume or change selections and this is right on my chest where it couldn't be handier. my only complaint - and it's a minorone - is that plugging in the charger is a little awkward but no big deal. love it. have ordered one in white.

This is a decent way to protect your iPod nano. It's a little cumbersome what with the neck cord and the earbud cord kind of competing for space on the front of you. I don't think it guards against water, so don't rely on that, but it does cushion the iPod against impact if you drop it or, as I did, step on it (I can't guarantee that). I kind of want to cut the neck cord off it, because it leaves the clip free and you could still clip it to your clothes. Maybe I will buy a second one and do that.
