This device is a "must have"
This pouch holder is exactly what I have been looking for. My grand daughter is 15 months old and had become so adept at finger painting, feeding the dog, and just making a mess with the pouch feeders that we had quit buying them. We were so excited when we saw these. They are perfect, on long drives, with babysitters, in the back pack, at a picnic or the beach, anytime you need to feed her and lack the high chair, time or the kitchen to prepare a meal. This device is PERFECT. Easy to install the pouch, easy to secure, baby cannot open it, and she easily empties the pouch with no assistance. It's lightweight, well made, easy for the child to hold, no sharp edges etc. Doesn't break or pop open if she throws it. If she drops it in the sand you just clean it off and hand it back to her. It's EASY to wash and store. This is a great device that is safe for your baby and a stress reducer for you. Instead of "fillers" you might use to get her to a meal time or place, you can give a healthy fruit or veggie pouch and be far better off. We couldn't be more pleased with this purchase.

Great product!!
Our twins love to eat their fruit pouches, but they also love to squeeze them and make a real mess. I was skeptical about this product at first, but since there are 2 of them in a package I decided to give it a try. These are great!! Our girls get to enjoy their pouches without all the mess after. Great design that is easy to open and add a pouch to, but our girls can't get them open. The pouches fit snugly and are easy to put in and take out. The straw part of the pouch sticks out far enough that our girls can easily suck the contents out with ease. The various pouches fit well into the EasyPouch and it makes travel much easier. This is a great product and I will definitely recommend it to other parents!!

Good product
I like this product! When my first order arrived on of the little "tab" pieces that hold the holder closed was broken. It still functioned, just not as well for a 1.5-year old that will try anything to open something. I was not going to complain because I usually do not unless it is totally damaged, which it wasn't. The company emailed me about my purchase to make sure I was happy with the product. I told them I was but it had a small area damaged. She sent me two more to "make up" for it, which I was so grateful for, one would have been enough! I am giving these 5 stars because of the customer service! The product its self is good, but not the best thing I have used. The whole thing is plastic and the "doors" and hinges of the holder are somewhat too thin. When you try and put a full, just opened pouch inside and close the doors sometimes it will squirt out because the holder is a bit snug. It does fit the small and large pouches which is nice! It does prevent my son from squeezing the pouch, which is its purpose, so it does its job. I will probably wait a little longer to let me son use them until he gets past throwing them on the ground since it does break easily. If you have a child that does not throw they will be great! Good product!

Good idea but...
Great idea for a product. Helps to prevent messes and let your child eat from a pouch independently from early on. You can place a prefilled store bought or the fill it yourself disposable and reusable puree food pouches into this plastic case and then snap it closed. Toddler can then hold the case and suck the babyfood from the pouch. The case prevents the toddler from accidentally OR intentionally squeezeing food everywhere. Pretty early on my son was able to hold this device and feed himself. One complaint is that this specific case is way to easy to be opened by even the youngest of eaters. With just a little curiosity this device becomes pointless. My son is the inspector or everything and of course he got it open 3 or 4 times out of like the 15 times i used it. Once your kid knows they can open it then that's the first task they completewhen you hand it over. Id get him distracted eating before i turned my head haha. I guess you could tape it or something. It did still help if I were holding him and the food. It would atleast prevent him from making me squeeze too much or him squeeze the bottom of the pouch. Second complaint is that it's kinda flimsy. I like that it decreases the bulk compared to other cases but I think I could Crack it in half if I squeezed it, which is what alot of tots will probably try to do. We only ended up using this a couple times before I purchased some silicone mouth pieces. This leads to my last "complaint." When I first introduced puree pouches was usually outside of the home and I wouldn't something preservable and easy. So I would of course hold him and squeeze a little in his mouth. So of course they wanna do thing independently and I purchased these cases. So he would get frustrated because he needed to learn to suck like a straw and we hadn't done that yet. I would turn it upside down and get the food right to the tip for him and even held it like a bottle in hope he might suck on it and realize. He did catch on to that pretty quick but when he stopped sucking and sat the case down or just held it upright the food would slide back down to the bottom so when he went to try it again of course after 2 or 3 sucks of air he would get mad and throw it lol. I tried to encourage him to keep sucking so he'd realize it actually wasn't that far from his mouth but he would get frustrated quick still. So I would have to flip it myself like a bottle of conditioner and get the food to the opening and put it upside down like a bottle in his mouth until he started sucking. So if your child is use to you squeezing the pouch or does not yet know how to use a straw just be mindful. I ended up buying the choomee silicone mouthpieces thinking that would encourage him to at least suck on it more like a bottle or sippy cup. Well to my surprise the mouthpieces were all I needed! They addressed all issues and concerns and doubled as a lid. I was unaware that the mouthpieces I bought didn't let food be pushed out. Idk how to explain it other than I squeezed the heck out of that thing and not a drop of food came out. Also when I personally sucked on it the food came out with no more effort than a bottle or sippy. Also if you pinch open the mouthpiece you can squeeze the air out and the let go of the mouthpiece and the food does still spread down some but the food is there when the tot goes to eat. And yes he immediately started sucking on it when I handed it to him so the silicone helped. I've just decided to start posting reviews to products I purchase and trial. Maybe I can figure out a way to condense my reviews down some but still keep all the little details in. I know I appreciate them when I'm researching products. So please like to let me know if this is the kind of info your looking for! So that's my experience. I hope this helps someone and good luck with your food journey. PS. Don't be scared go have fun and make messes with food still!

greatest invention ever
I wish I had these when my older two were younger. We will give pouches occasionally because it's easy or if we are traveling. This make it so much easier and there is no mess. so far it has fit every pouch that we have bought. The motts applesauce, gerber and so many others! They clean easy. I have only ever hand washed mine. Not sure how they would hold up in the dishwasher. Highly recommend!

Buy this now! :)
These hard cases are fantastic and fit in my little man's hands perfectly. His eyes lit up when he saw that he could hold it by himself. The case opens by unclipping the two clasps on the side of the container. It then opens like a side by side refrigerator, right down the middle. The pouch fits easily in side the holder. I've used the Gerber pouches and the Plum pouches, each fitting well. The mouth piece on the pouches have two rings along the bottom and you can close the case right in between those two rings. That will keep it from moving while it's in the case. The clasp isn't the most secure but the design does make it difficult for little ones to figure out. Also I think you could put a rubberband around it even if they do figure it out and use that as extra protection. I just don't let my little guy play with it, so he doesn't have time to figure it out. I love it and think you will to!

Be a Rock Star Gift-Giver
I was looking for a baby gift that was new to the market and was a true problem solver for busy moms - something that actually works and makes life easier. I came across this on Amazon. I had never seen such a simple, yet smart product. My friend's baby is actually a year old, so thought this was perfect. Along with the thank you note, my friend was so impressed with this product and has now shared with her other mom friends. The security of being able to just hand the baby the pouch in the Easy Pouch was amazing and is now saving her from cleaning up messes as a result of her baby squeezing the pouch. If you are looking for a gift that is an actual problem solver and makes moms life easier, I highly recommend this product. Great find and I look like a champ for giving it to her. Yay!

Great idea, design limits use.
I tried ChooMee caps to avoid pouch spillage, but my son didn't like the caps, and refused to touch the pouch with one on it. Enter this product... The cases seem to be well-made enough that they should survive a few months of use by your average toddler. I do feel the need to handle it quite gingerly when opening and closing. The side joints are just thinned areas of the plastic that seem like they would wear out eventually, but if you don't twist the "door" part to start a tear in that hinge, it seems like it should last for at least a couple hundred or so uses. The design with the wrap-around tabs that clip to secure it closed feel a little thin/flmsy, but they work quite well and seem secure when closed. This could be one of those items that seems a little flimsy, but lasts for quite a while longer than you'd expect. I'll be sure to post a follow up to let you know. You are probably wondering why I am reviewing this now, instead of waiting until I have those answers for you... I want to share a few basic design flaws that will prevent you from wasting money. This item cannot be used with ChooMe caps ChooMee Sip'n Soft Top with Flow Control and Cap for Food Pouch Feeding (Red Purple Orange and Aqua), 4 pack , at all. The cap -if properly attached- should be pushed firmly down onto the spout until you hear and feel a pop. The pouch has a sort of collar that secures it into the EasyPouch case. That snap is the cap securing under that same collar. You can use one or the other, but not both at the same time. I posted pics to demonstrate this for you. This item also cannot be used with several brands/styles of reusable pouches. I mostly use Resqueeze reusable pouches ReSqueeze Reusable Food Pouch (8-pack) . I managed to fold and cram the pouch into the case, only to find that closing the EasyPouch case forces the ziplock type closure across the bottom to pop open. This allows the contents of the pouch to ooze out into the case. I also tried this with another brand of reusable pouch that has the closure on the side instead of the bottom, and had the same thing happen. I was able to successfully use this with the single use pouches from Infantino that I only use when I will be feeding away from home. Infantino Squeeze Pouches, 50-Count If you are going to use this with single use pouches, I did find a silicone cap that can be used with the EasyPouch case. These Pouchpop caps are basically a soft straw-type extension that screw onto the tip of pouches using the threading their tops came screwed onto. Those toppers are an open tube, so they do not prevent spillage like a ChooMe, but using them with the EasyPouch case leads to very minimal spillage. PouchPop Topper 2 Pack for Pouch Feeding, 4 Months Plus - Red/Orange I posted photos with pouches using both types of toppers and showing the scenarios I mentioned with the reusable pouches. This product is basically useless for me personally due to not being able to use it with reusable pouches. If you exclusively use single use pouches without toppers like ChooMe, this is the product design for you. ETA: Months later, I have used these several dozen times with the Pouchpop topper, or no topper at all, and the cases have performed well. I have always handwashed them and they still look brand-new. My son did find that he can sling food out of them (physics, yo), but they are still much less messy than a pouch not enclosed in the case. We have not yet had any cracking or breaking of the plastic, and my son (now 18 months) has not yet come close to figuring out how to open them.

Mess free
The pouches keep my son less messy. He has a hard time getting all of the contents out of the pouches. It would be handy if there was somewhere to put the lid.
