Build Custom LED Runs Without Soldering Running lighting under kitchen cabinets or around a gaming desk often requires handling tricky corners and uneven gaps. Soldering tiny pads on 6-pin RGB Dual White strips can be difficult and time-consuming. The Biantie La Strip-to-Wire Connector provides a mechanical alternative. It enables you to build custom-length extensions using standard wire, ensuring your lighting fits your space exactly—not the other way around. Project Flexibility Unlike pre-made jumper wires that leave excess cable hanging, this connector puts you in control of the wire length. - Bridge Gaps: Jump power over microwave ovens or range hoods. - Turn Corners: Use flexible wires to make sharp 90-degree turns on walls. - Extend Reach: Run power from your 24V driver to the ceiling cove. Installation Guide (Tools Needed: Pliers) 1. Verify Width: Ensure your strip is 12mm (0.47 inch) wide. (Not for 10mm). 2. No Stripping: Insert the 22 AWG wire with insulation ON. The IDC pins will pierce it. 3. Mechanical Lock: Use pliers to clamp the cap down fully. This ensures the pins penetrate the PCB for a vibration-resistant connection. Review: Installed 5 and they all worked perfect with some interesting - 100% success rate using these connectors. On the LED side I did remove the silicone coating down to the copper pads and used pliers to close the connection. None of them broke doing this and snapped back closed just fine. One other small issue, not with the connectors as such, was that the LED strip I was using came with pre soldered wire ends that did not match the wire (above) exactly as I expected. The LED strip has both cool white and warm with the pre soldered yellow wire for cool and white wire for warm, backwards from what I would expect. Using these connectors and wire (above) warm white is powered by the yellow and cool with the white wire. It is possible to cross the yellow and white with this connector or better yet cut off the factory wires and use these for all connections.
