This is such a great journal. The prompts are great and give me ideas on what to say about my child, but aren’t too hard to answer. I love that there’s extra space so that I can add other thoughts that the prompts don’t cover. I’ve had this journal for over a year now (bought it while pregnant and my baby is now 13 months!) and I still love it. I will say, it can be a bit time consuming for that first year of life since there’s a section for every month, but I love it. It probably took me 1-2 hours each month to fill it out, but I do like to write a lot. Just saying, if you’re looking for a super quick and easy baby book, this probably isn’t the one for you. I’m so excited to have this book grow with my child. I can definitely handle 1-2 hours per year to journal for them. I wish I journaled more but I just don’t , so this is fantastic for catching those summaries. I just bought a second one for my baby on the way.

I own three of these already for each of my children. I need to be better about writing in them but they are perfect and so beautiful

I originally bought this journal when we adopted our son from foster care when he was three years old! Even though we didn’t have him at a newborn, this journal still allowed us to write his story from the beginning! Then when we had our two babies I bought them each the same exact one and have been filling out their journals as they grow! I really loved that at the beginning the questions were still personal, but more versatile that they worked for adoption instead of a birth! But then when we had our babies, I was able to use it for a birth story instead of an adoption story!

We were hesitant to even purchase a baby book as it seems daunting. After several days of research, I'm absolutely floored that we have chosen to pursue a baby book and picked this one. A pricer option, it's totally worth it. Our baby boy is now only 5 weeks old but we've already looked back on a couple of entries and thought to ourselves how we wouldn't have remembered this or that and giggled and truly enjoyed reliving these special moments. I have already appreciated the time capsule aspect that this book creates, truly priceless. The prompts are perfect to get any persons mind moving to be able to write about their baby/child and yet there is room to add in any additional thoughts outside the prompts. It takes only a few minutes to capture thoughts for a lifetime. I would say, this book is perfect for the family on the go with little time! It lets you document just enough without going crazy and makes it super easy for you to do so. I don't usually write amazon reviews but after having bought this for myself and following up by buying this for several friends, I felt it was a good idea to share my perspective of this purchase for future mom and dads to read. I encourage you to spend the money and purchase this baby book over others.

Have these for each of my children. Bring to hospital to take them out a newborn foot print in. I like how it prompts specific info based on age but also leaves room for adding what you want!! Definitely not overwhelming for a busy mom to complete, great keepsake for child memories!

We LOVE the Promptly Journals, we have one for each of our 3 kids. What I love about it too is if you slack a bit, it’s very easy to go back and answer the prompts in hindsight. I wish there was a little more space for unscripted thoughts, but it’s pretty good! The quality of the book itself is great; we travel a lot and I bring ours along and they don’t have a scratch, the binding is perfect, the pages are difficult to tear, and the color/covers haven’t worn at all. These are the best!

This is a great option for a keepsake book. It has questions about my baby each month that I will want to remember as well as plenty of space for special moments/thoughts to write in. There is also a page for pictures, I use my Polaroid. Thus book is pretty, simple and I like that it’s hard covered. I’ve purchased it 3 times, I would definitely recommend.

These journals are amazing little treasures. I've kept one for both of my boys, and it is a breeze to keep them updated for me. As they say, it only takes a little bit of time every year, but if you sit down a few times a month, you can remember so much more to write and give them a bigger look at their childhood. I do wish they had space for more photos, but I can always make a separate photo album for them.

The journal is great but unfortunately received it damaged! Too bad as it’s not acceptable to gift it like that!

I love how these look on the outside, the fabric just looks beautiful and fancy. I don’t feel like I need to put them in a box like other baby books that aren’t as aesthetically pleasing on a bookshelf. Love how thick they are and how there’s so much room for everything in there. It’s all so well done. I will buy another for sure for my next baby! Thank you for the best baby book!

Every parent needs one of these for each of their children. It's so lovely to have everything in one place, the writing prompts are great, I love all of the space they give to write out extra memories and paste in pictures.
