Is there any metal on these chairs?

Hi, There is no metal in this chair.

Why is the back slipping and how do I fix the backrest?

Before you lie on it, make sure the hook snap on the back is locked tight.

How is this product in the heat ? I live in AZ and wanted to know if it will get too hot to sit on.

True, but most would put a towel down on the chair anyway.
