Does the doll have a scent / odor? We have one that has this "baby powder" scent, but it smells more like moth balls to me. Quality of clothes?

I wish I could answer, but it's a Christmas gift and is already wrapped, so I can't sniff around. Sorry! What child wants to smell moth balls on her baby doll?

Is this 15" doll phthalate free?

Yes, all JC Toys Dolls are phthalate free. In addition they pass all USA and International testing requirements for safety! You can be assured that our toys are designed with love and with our children's safety in mind.

Is this doll washable?

Only the face, feet and hand can be washed with a damp cloth. The remainder of the body is cloth, and washing is not recommended.
