The graphics and quality are superior and they are fine as hot pads but small for a placemat so that I have to put on top of a larger cloth placemat . But they are charming and heat resistant

We were looking for smaller placemats for our kitchen island counter. Most of the placemats are much larger format and would be in the way in the counter so these are just the right size. In fact even smaller like more of a pub size would’ve been better they are great for that. They keep the plates warm and they’re cute. They individualized everyone in the family has their own animal. Unfortunately, unlike other Pimpernel placemats, I have that I’ve had for decades. The edges are not sealed at all as far as I can see so any water that gets on the edge immediately gets under the paper and starts to delaminate you can see that in the photo, also the edge is dented quite easily. They’re almost as if they’re made of sort of like a cardboard or something. Previous placemats I have had by this company have sealed edges that seem like they are melamine or some other very durable sealant and the whole placemat is quite durable and washable this placemat you must wipe it very carefully and if you get water on the edge it will get under it. Also, I’ve noticed that there are already dents in several places. On the plus side I wasn’t actually taken with the drawings themselves, but they’re much cuter in person. The only one I really don’t like is the duck. Also, the speckled background really hides crumbs and stains. overall not really a good value for your money. However, these were the only ones I could find in the smaller format.

Hochwertige Tischsets, die optisch was her machen. Der Designer hat im unteren Teil der Tierbilder bunte Punkte eingefügt, die auf einer Geburtstagsfeier für viel Lacher gesorgt haben: ein paar Gäste haben versucht diese "Krümel" wegzuwischen und sogar das Brettchen mit Wasser geschrubbt. Für Kinder sind die Sets nicht geeignet, da sie etwas empfindlich sind. Flüssigkeiten am Rand des Brettchens müssen sofort weggewischt werden, da sie sich ansonsten unter die oberste Schicht setzen und hässliche Flecken hinterlassen. Flüssigkeiten auf dem Brettchen stellen kein Problem dar, solange dieses unbeschädigt ist.

Très joli graphisme, liège épais, entretien facile, je regrette toutefois de ne pas avoir pris le modèle de dimensions supérieures avec tous les motifs sur le même set, une assiette et les couverts tiennent juste,et les dessous de verre assortis ne sont pas en vente, dommage
