Grubs Gone Bye Bye
This product worked very well for us. Within a few weeks, we noticed a dramatic reduction in mole activity throughout our yard. The tunnels and fresh mole hills that used to appear constantly have disappeared. It seems to have addressed the root of the problem… the grubs. Since moles are attracted to lawns with abundant food sources, the noticeable decline in mole activity suggests the grub population was significantly reduced as well. It appears the moles simply moved on in search of a more grub-rich environment. Our lawn already looks healthier and less disturbed, and we no longer wake up to new mounds every morning. Very pleased with the results and would absolutely recommend this to anyone dealing with persistent mole and grub problems.

Gets the Job Done
I was skeptical when I heard about beneficial nematodes, but they work. I had moles in my yard, and my daughter mentioned these little guys and how they work to eliminate grubs. I tried them, and within two months my mole problem was gone. You'll need this, a sprayer to put them in and hook up your hose, and the time to water your lawn with them. That's it. Easy peasy. You will need to do this twice a year, as the grubs and moles will come back if you don't. Small price to may for a flat yard. BTW, my yard is 1/2 acre, so 50 million is needed for this size yard. Highly recommend.

*replacement shipped*Dead nematodes
*** after 3 emails & asking for a phone call I did get a replacement over nighted to me. I was so busy I forgot to update my review. I also just got my spring order a couple weeks ago, not fond of the envelope & prefer the box. But the microscope don't lie and they were very much alive! Well... I hate to do this, but... I am so mad right now! I have ordered from this company for almost 5 years and have ALWAYS had excellent outcome!! Packaging was Horrible!! A bubble wrap envelope with ONE hot icepack! Normally they come in a Styrofoam container with multiple ice packs. I tested under the microscope immediately and had NO MOVEMENT!! I emailed immediately and got the response " they are very yardy and the icepack is for moisture" Hmm... Okay, then why does it say refrigerate immediately and to keep below 45 degrees until your getting ready to use them??? Response also said they would smell like rotton meat if bad, maybe they werent "rotten" yet, Just dead. Either way I've emailed again and still waiting on a response. Last year they shipped them on a Thursday and I got them the following Wednesday, obviously they were bad. They replaced them with NO PROBLEM!! Im not sure if theres a new manager or they've just given up on running a reputable business but i am livid at this point. We get crane flys really bad, this is why I order twice a year. So guess what... The flys have done tore up my yard because the nematodes arent working like they usually do. I even put them in a container with multiple grubs (as I do with EVERY batch) any other time the grubs are dead or at least soft and dying with in 24 hours. NOPE NOT THIS TIME!!! they're all still nice and plump digging around. Guess ill be searching for a new company and chalking this up as a loss unless they man up and send me new ones with peoper packaging. "IF" I get them and they're alive I will Most definitely Update this review. I understand the pandemic is making it hard on all business's and keeping enough employees around to properly ship products. But uf you cant do it right, just shut down for a while.

Poor delivery service
Did not eliminate the fungus nets. Due to the delivery process. I'm not sure they were even still alive when I received them. When delivered, they were left in the heat of the day on my sidewalk in front of the house.. Not knowing how cool they need to be kept. And without a microscope, I couldn't tell you whether they had lived. I certainly like the idea of treating bugs without chemicals, but the proof is in the pudding. And I still have Fungus nats

Game-Changer for Pest Control - Results in Just Days!
Despite a one-day shipping delay (not the seller's fault), I was pleased with my nematode order. When I contacted the seller about the delay, they reassured me that these beneficial organisms are quite hardy and would remain viable. Following their advice, we examined the nematodes under a microscope before application—they were actively moving and clearly alive! We applied the nematodes across an extensive area: over an acre of yard (targeting ticks, fleas, and mosquitoes), 10 raised garden beds, 5 native herb beds, 30+ container plants on patios and decks, and several dozen indoor planters. The results exceeded my expectations. Within just three days, the persistent gnat problem in my houseplants was completely resolved. After two weeks, we noticed a dramatic reduction in outdoor pests including ants, beetles, ticks, and grubs. As an added bonus, all our plants appear healthier and more vibrant than before. I only wish I had discovered beneficial nematodes sooner—they've been a game-changer for our pest management!

Useless for japanese beetles, squash borers, aphids, and more
I followed the instructions EXACTLY. I received the product. I immediately put the product in the refrigerator. We waited until we had several rainy days forecast, then applied using a new sprayer following directions exactly (waited a few minutes time they advised before spraying, and sprayed it WELL within the suggested 6 hour limit). This was all done WELL within the time frame the seller suggested, only a week after receiving product. We made sure the ground was watered regularly. We applied generously. We did the suggested repeat application a few weeks later. BUT THAT WAS NOT ALL WE DID. You see, as a gardener who doesn't use pesticides, I was so excited to think this product was going to naturally help control pest bugs that I ordered MORE. I wanted a great garden this year and based on the rave reviews I reordered a bigger size. Despite the ludicrous shipping, both times the cold pack was not cold when we received it BUT they said this is no problem if the item doesn't smell (it did NOT). I put the item in fridge immediately as both times I was home when it was delivered (I work from home). SO I did MORE applications a few weeks apart, exactly per instructions. AND DID I MENTION I FOLLOWED ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY AS PER THE DIRECTIONS? Because that's just how I roll. I was careful and wanted it to work. I EVEN ASKED MY NEIGHBOR WHO HAS A GARDEN IF I COULD "SHARE" MY OVERPRICED NEMATODES WITH HER, AND SHE KINDLY LET ME SPRAY HER GARDEN - BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT HER BUGS HATCHING AND COMING OVER TO MY *FANCY SCHMANCY NEMATODE PROTECTED PEST-FREE GARDEN* You see, I was going all in. I was in it to win it and going ALL THE WAY, doing everything this product directions said to do AND spraying my neighbor's garden too! So, after all that... here were the results (the below bugs were all bugs this product stated it controlled): Today I had to put row covers on all cucurbits because the squash vine borer was back darn her, I found eggs on stems & leaves and had to pick 'em off. I've been going out many times a day all week catching Japanese beetles by the dozen and feeding them to my ducks. The cabbage butterfly caterpillars were back so I had to bust out the neem oil (which I wanted to avoid). The red beetle things were back eating lilies (not that I care about lilies, we don't eat them). Caterpillars everywhere devouring my apple and pear trees and rose bushes. We have aphids but BLESS MY ARMY OF PAPER WASPS, LADYBUGS AND PARASITOID WASPS, they always control aphids for me, our aphids never get out of control or cause any real plant damage. Oh and the garden roaches? Plenty of 'em. Now I have to buy MORE expensive row cover and hoops to cover my pumpkin and watermelon because you can be SURE the borers will go after those if they can't get my covered squash and zucchini. This product was a HUGE WASTE OF MONEY AND EFFORT. My garden is no better off than usual, and I am an AVID gardener who spends lots of time in my garden and we have lots of good bugs, birds, etc. The bugs that I was concerned with stopping were listed on this product as working. If you have an aphid problem, this won't help. I saw the same amount of aphids as always, but again, my beneficial bugs always get them. And the japanese beetles! I have to manually get them and I always win the war because me and my kids go out daily and catch them in jars and feed them to the ducks (we call the quack snacks) but I was hoping not to have to do that this year. So, in a nutshell, this product DID NOT WORK and I so, so wanted it to.

Finally - An Organic Solution That Actually Works for Fungus Gnats!
I've tried EVERY organic and natural treatment possible to knock out a persistent and incredibly heavy fungus gnat infestation in my houseplants - hydrogen peroxide, neem oil, cinnamon, mosquito bits, even another brand of nematodes from Amazon. Nothing had worked. NaturesGoodGuys was the only product that finally did what it claimed. Shipping was impressively fast and handled with care...FedEx Priority Overnight from Oregon to NYC, insulated between two gel ice packs. Even though my package was delivered at room temperature, the nematodes inside were still alive and active. I unpacked them right away and placed the sealed organism packets in the fridge (inside their original bubble sleeve to reduce light exposure) as recommended. Following the clear instructions, I mixed and watered all my indoor plants. The results: gnat numbers visibly dropped about 30% per week, and by the fourth week—none at all. I haven’t seen a single gnat in the last week, and my plants are healthy and happy. No more tiny bugs buzzing my screen, face, and lights. You can probably find cheaper nematode products, but these are the real deal. They arrive alive, shipped fast, and with clear instructions. I’m so happy with the result that I’m putting NaturesGoodGuys on my subscribe and save list for future auto-orders. Can’t recommend highly enough if you want a true biological pest control solution that works.
