Water lettuce provides a floating rosette of attractive foliage that resembles lettuce. The plants float in ponds and water features, forming dense clumps of leaves. The leaves remain dry while the long roots dangle freely in the water. The plants shade the water and the floating roots leach nutrients from the pond. Water lettuce grows naturally as a tropical perennial. In colder climates, grow the plant as an annual or bring it indoors to overwinter. Your fish will love them. They will appreciate the shade, shelter, and food provided. Increases oxygen in the water. They grow extremely fast, especially with lots of sun exposure. They are 100% chemical free and are fish safe. These plants prefer calm waters. Place them away from waterfalls or water currents or they can perish. Koi fish will eat these plants so if you are not planning to feed your fish with this plant do not buy.

Review: Legit - I purchased a bundle in april and put it in a small pond. It was still a little too cold outside (north GA) so it took a couple weeks to really start spreading. The lettuce and hyacinth both easily reproduce but the hornwort never got established (new growth at the tips would break off, float around, then die off.) Plants were delivered promptly and in good shape. I was not familiar with the hornwort so i probably killed it.

### ⭐ Small and poor health

These are a waste of money. I've had them for 3 weeks now. The two floaters I received were tiny. They looked like they were cut from the parent plant and shoved into the bag to ship to me. They arrived with very few leaves, many of which were brown, and floating lopsided. In the last 3 weeks I've been able to get them looking as I expected them to look upon arrival, hopefully they start reproducing soon. The underwater one is dead. It was obviously stressed and all it's leaves were falling off upon arrival. I've since found the floaters at a local nursery for about $3 a piece and much more mature/healthy. Perhaps I just ordered too early it the spring, but I won't bother to try again based on the poor quality of what I received.
