How does the key ring attach to key fob?

It loops through the key fob then the case closes around it with a cutout for the key ring attachment.

Expected better

Just received my key case and was really excited to put it on. Seems like it doesn’t fit 100%. Not sure if I bought the right one but as you can see in the photos and video the clear cover doesn’t match the BMW batch a 100% even tho I moved it once I put everything together. The buttons don’t align might be my key. Also noticed some very small scratches in the case hard to take a photo of it as the carbon fiber reflects. 3/5 would probably not recommend & not buy again.
