I have no idea what I did prior to having this, but it has been a godsend. My firstborn didn’t really seem to care about it, but my second, has taken to it so much so that we cannot go anywhere without it. We initially had the battery operated one, and after storing it for a year and forgetting to remove the batteries, the unit inside was no longer usable. We searched for it again, and were beyond excited that it had been upgraded to a rechargeable unit with added sounds, timers, and other options we didn’t have before. We ordered two more since and we don’t regret it one bit! It’s so super soft, and is worth every penny for the added sleep we get at night when it soothes our child back to sleep. We even have one of them at our child’s daycare during the day for naps to help ease them back into sleep if they wake. I wouldn’t have thought that this would help us, until it did!

100% must have! Ewan has become essential for our little one! He is her lovey, her comfort, her first friend. It is easy to wash, easy to charge and so many different sound options. I really like the light! I also like that he can detect her cry! UPDATE: we are now 15 months and this girl LOVES her Ewan. He goes everywhere! We have bought two more and have a rotation that we work thru. We love love love Ewan the dream sheep and it’s even better now it’s rechargeable. All my babies have slept through from 10 weeks and I’m sure it’s because of this sheep! It’s super easy to use and change the settings. The cry sensor is great and never fails to get my baby back off to sleep. It’s got adjustable volume! It’s soft and cuddly and the hanging loop makes it perfect to hang to the outside of the bassinet or crib. Super cute and it’s one of my must have baby items.

I purchased the Rechargeable Ewan Deluxe many months ago, and it’s been a wonderful addition to my toddler’s bedtime routine. I keep it in his bed, and it’s incredibly effective at soothing him. The machine detects when he starts to cry or tosses a lot during sleep, automatically playing calming white noise that settles him down quickly. My toddler loves it so much that he sometimes lays his head on it for comfort! It offers two volume levels, and I keep it on the lowest setting since it’s right next to him, which is perfect for gentle background noise. The red light feature is included, but I don’t use it as it’s not needed for us. The only downside is that if you forget to turn off the noise detection during the day, it can drain the battery quickly, as it activates with any noise and runs for about 15 minutes before shutting off automatically. Despite this, the Rechargeable Ewan Deluxe has been a reliable and comforting sleep aid for my toddler!

Nice, but battery doesn't last long especially when you have the cry sensor on. Sometimes it doesn't pick up the cries and will pick up something else which can be frustrating. Like sometimes I'll be in the living room with baby and I'll hear the music go on through the baby monitor lol. I also hate how every time I plug it in to charge (which is quite often) it resets my settings. Not the biggest deal but still an unnecessary hassle.

I have a 4-month-old baby, and I have been using this sheep for about two months now. My baby loves it! I also have an older nephew who is 8 months old, and he enjoys it as well. The brightness is sufficient to see the sheep at night. It offers a variety of sounds, but my baby only likes one of them. The quality of the sheep is sturdy and soft; however, after a few washes and an accidental trip through the dryer, the softness remains, but the fabric has lost its fluffiness. It's a great gift and has decent quality, but I do think it is a bit pricey since I have to constantly change the batteries, and the sounds only last for 20 minutes. It turns on by itself sometimes, triggered by any sound, not just by the baby crying.

My husband got this for me as a birthday gift and I love it. I'm big sheep fan (I used to raise them) and this guy is so cuddly. The noise machine really works for me - right off to sleep. I've had it for almost 2 months and no issues - works great.

I bought Ewan about 5 months ago. He has saved the day pretty much since we've opened the box. My daughter didn't really give him a second glance when we first started using him while rocking her but now that she is 8 months he has quickly become her comfort buddy. She grabs him as soon as we offer him to her and she sucks on his ears and pets him. I've read some reviews saying the sound box is hard to use but we've had no issue. We don't use the auto feature so that button we don't need to get to, the night light we just always leave activated and if you turn the box to face out you simply squeeze his belly once to turn on or double click to cycle through the sounds. We havent needed to wash him yet but I don't see it being any issue. My only wish for him would be that he was a little less "bulbous". He's very round and isn't easy to balance while holding baby but now that my daughter can hold him herself it's less of an issue.

I have bought numerous baby products over the years in hope of making life a little easier with regards to settling and sleeping. Of course I’m always skeptical when buying as a lot of items don’t work. But this hands down was the best purchase and works very well! My baby is now sleeping in his bassinet instead of on me. Highly recommend to any new parents!

Acheté pour la première fois pour ma seconde, Ewan a permis à mon bébé d'être facilement rassurée et à facilité l'endormissement. Racheté pour la dernière elle en a fait son doudou... je l'ai principalement utilisé avec les bruits du cœur... La dernière papouilles les oreilles pour s'endormir, et les mâchoires ;) Je trouve la nouvelle version delux bien plus pratique pour le nettoyer!
