Petrified fish PF868 Bunta,3.35" D2 Satin Blade,146g G10 Handle Flipper Folding knife (Black G10, Satin)

I've been waiting to be asked for my review and I cannot be more enthusuastic. I have over forty different folders of different brands and varieties but I cannot recall ever being more pleased than I was to recieve inspect and use this flipper! Materials (Black G10/D2 Steel) fit and finish are excellent and comparable with the very best. Operation is smooth as butter, balance, grip and lock-up are excellent, very sharp out of the box, a truly deep carry non-snag clip and just the right size both opened and closed for my new EDC. Previous EDC was the great Large Honey Badger Tanto (still a favorite) but wanted something a bit smaller and was thinking of their Medium Tanto but glad I chanced on this crazy good Petrified Fish instead. I'm so pleased with the husky blade, its shape and versatility in use. Truly STELLAR Flipper for the very reasonable price asked! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! WOW!!!

Small enough to carry around, but has a handle that feels substantial. The blade is a good shape - chunky and just long enough. The lock feels secure. The quality seems great for such a cheap knife. It was easy to move the clip if that’s something you want to do, and I really like the way the clip attached under the handle. I feel confident that if my great-great-great-great-great grandfather Eric had this knife, he would become a húscarl for sure.

I love this knife! Its super tough and takes a razor edge. I've put this thing through hell and it keeps on kicking, a quick strop and it's ready to go in less then 5 minutes. The blade shows signs of abuse a the scratches are all over the place, but I'm ok with it being that this knife is a budget beater. All in all buy it now while it's still in stock you won't be disappointed.

Almost the perfect flipper.... I really like everything about the knife and if 4.5 stars were an option, that would be where I'd put it. The grip and the way it feels in hand. The flip to open feels smooth, secure, and solid. The blade is sharp and retains it's edge extremely well. It's small enough for every day carry but big enough to tackle larger tasks. The only single complaint I have is the location of the retention clip. It's reversible but it's on the wrong end of the knife with no way to change that.

Come sharp and look like it’s been home and not grow long. Best slipper over on. It’s definitely a chopper more than a slicer.

The handle is big enough to be comfortable in work, the blade is thick and strongly built and of good quality steel. The clip has a solid attachment and is well shaped; it can be switched to the other handle scale for southpaws but can't be reversed. Every time i use it i like it more. This is a grwat deal, especially at a good price.

The knife is well made and very sharp. The only issue is the pocket clip is to high on the grip. This makes it extremely difficult to remove when clipped to your pocket. Should be moved down.

I love the blade shape of this knife. The action is very smooth to open. It also feels great in my hand. The blade was perfectly centered and very sharp. Very good knife!

Topmesser mit einem nahezu unvergleichbaren Preisleistungsverhältnis! Perfekt zentrierte sowie massive schöne Klinge, hochpräziser Rahmen, Kugellager-Aktion sowie Lock... es ist einfach alles Tip-top verarbeitet. Eine solche hochwertige Verarbeitung bekommt man ansonsten unmöglich unter mindestens 150€ aufwärts, daher habe ich mich nach langem hin und her auch für dieses Messer (welches wie ich finde ähnlichkeit mit einen Pottwaal aufweist und meines erachtens daher perfekt für einen Seefahrer ist) entschieden! Habe gleich 2 bestellt... Eines für mich... sowie eines für meinen Dad, welcher sehr viel Zeit am Meer verbringt, welches ich auch noch mit einem passenden, marinen Spruch gravieren lassen werde. Vielen Dank für alles, sowie ein großes Lob an eure Konstrukteure, Schmiede und die Geschäftsführer. "Petrified fish" ist ein absoluter Geheimtipp für Bugetmesser auf Hy-end-niveau welche ihr Geld wert sind. 💪🐳🔪

Los acabados muy buenos como viene siendo con Petrified Fish, la hoja venía con una ligera mancha de óxido superficial puede que por huellas de dedos , parece que se ha ido al darle con WD40. El D2 es un acero muy resistente pero se oxida con más facilidad que otros y se tiene que mantener ligeramente aceitado. Ya se verá con el tiempo Tanto la empuñadura como la hoja, acabados de 10. Ni una sola rebaba ni saliente y el filo impoluto, no he hecho la prueba de corte con papel pero tiene pinta de cortar de miedo El seguro hace contacto con la espiga en un 60% si se "lanza" la hoja, es decir, se abre una parte inicial y luego se da un latigazo con la muñeca para acabar de abrir. Si se hace de otra manera solo lo hace un 10%, de todas maneras hay un buen choil en la hoja para poner el dedo índice y una buena cremallera en el lomo para el pulgar que facilita un agarre avanzado muy bueno para hacer fuerza Aparte de la gamuza vienen un par de tornillos de recambio por si acaso. Cada día estoy más contento con esta marca, de la cuchillería china es ahora mi preferida por delante de Ganzo, porque tienen una variedad bastante extensa de modelos muy interesantes y porque todos los que conozco llevan rodamientos, cuando la otra marca lleva arandelas en bastantes modelos

Bin überrascht wie gut die Verarbeitung von den messer ist. Angefangen bei der Verpackung, Zubehör und das Messer selbst. Bin voll zufrieden deshalb 5 Sterne

De las que tengo con el sistema de apertura por "flipper", es la que más fácil y mejor se acciona. Es muy suave y apenas hay que hacer fuerza. Y sin embargo, cuando está cerrada, la hoja no se abre accidentalmente si no se acciona el "flipper". La forma de la hoja es muy diferente, lo que la hace original y distinta. Y el acabado en pie de oveja me gusta, por ser menos agresivo que otros tipos de hoja. El mango tiene una textura muy ligera con la que se consigue un buen agarre y que no resbale y la navaja es muy sólida y tiene muy buenos ajustes. El peso es acorde a su tamaño En la foto la pongo con otros modelos para comparar formas y tamaño. ¡Ah! y la hay en gris azulado y verde oliva, pero es este color me parece preciosa.
