## Description

Description: These are popular among the shrimp hobby and are great for people getting into the hobby. A general rule of thumb of keeping shrimps is 10 shrimps per gallon. Blue Dream are non-aggressive and spend most of their time eating algae and biofilm off plants, glass, and substrate. They make excellent clean up crews for aquascape tanks. Blue Dream are easy to care for as they require remineralized RO water or tap. If you are using tap, keep in mind to check for any harmful metals or chemicals in the water as all tap water is different and some aren't safe to use. When using fertilizer, make sure it does not contain copper as it is harmful to the shrimp’s health. Although there are multiple colors of neocaridina in the same line, it is not recommended to mix them to keep the genes to be the purist it can be. If you do however mix the colors, you will most likely end up with wild brown colored offsprings. Common Name: Blue Dream Shrimp, Blueberry Shrimp, Deep Blue Shrimp, Blue Sapphire Shrimp, Fantasy Blue Shrimp Blue Dream Shrimps have amazing coloration and are beautiful in every way. The grading is judged by how opaque the blue is. The more opaque it is, the higher the grade is. Check out our store for high quality food for your shrimps

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can these shrimp live with a powder blue dwarf gourami in a 20 gallon tall hexagonal tank, with lots of plants and rocks and hiding places?**
A: I am not sure. I had mine with a bunch of glo tetras and a betta. Mine were there the first night and no where to be found the next morning. 😞. I would just be careful what they get mixed with.

**Q: Hello just ordered some blues, was wondering if the temps up here in north Idaho will be a problem? Thanks**
A: mine arrived the day after a storm and they were fine. Just get them from the mail asap and get them warmed up. They do come well bagged, wrapped in foil bubble wrap and insulation. I hope this helps!
