This hot comb is exactly as described, but I’m not sure if it gets hot enough to flatten the hair as I would have desired. By all means go ahead and purchase this item as I am not sure what the stylists and hairdressers use to achieve that maximum heat. It does heat up and straighten the hair to an extent, but I don’t think it’s as hot as you would find in the hair salon. This is my personal opinion.

I don’t really see a difference in using this compared to my GHD? Not sure what I was expecting but it did not May my hair lay down any flatter. I guess it’s just another hot tool I won’t use!! Why do we do it to ourselves. Save your money.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. The hot comb doesn't get hot, it's luke warm at best at the highest temperature. I can hold the comb with my hand. I am returning the item.
