Stair Climbing Cart, Sturdy Birdy Farmers Market Cart

I have used this several times and it has been sturdy and effective. I used it for moving groceries into my house and also used it for carrying tools for work on my decks. I added a liner for the bottom to keep small items from falling out. One could make other modifications to hold more groceries.The basic small size makes it easy to move around tight spaces. Has worked well with heavy power tools. I have several other carts, but this design and 3-wheel feature make it the most handy.

Love the way it goes up steps. Cages of water are a breeze.

Except that the basket is smaller than the Polder cart that I enjoyed previously, this is definitely more sturdy so far. It does go up/down stairs very nicely with my supplies needed for home health. It could stand to have a liner and a solid plastic bottom insert to prevent small items from slipping out and being lost. It would be even nicer to have the basket be two inches wider to fit my folding foot-stools and shoulder bag more easily. Overall, it seems to be a stronger made cart than the Polder, yet still light and easy to fold and throw on my back seat of the car.

WAS I SHOCKED A PIERCE OF METAL DOES NOT GO UP THE STAIRS AND SEVERAL PEOPLE TRIED IT READ I REPEAT READ THE DIMENSIONS THIS IS VERY VERY SMALL YOU WOULD BE LUCKY IF YOU COULD GET A FULL LOAD OF GROCERIES. DO NOT WASTER YOUR MONEY

It is very sturdy. The idea of converting it to a dolly is a great one but the platform is way too small to be useful

it is to small for the price they are asking for. I will never or recommend this product to ANYONE!

Smaller than I thought but still works! Gets my stuff from car to house. Goes over and up the steps like it knows how to walk, lol.

It is very useful but I like to have bigger one.

Very practical. But I find it little small. To handle big shopping. I thought it would be bigger cart.

Doesn’t really hold very much. The wheels which is why i bought it... dont actually work on the lipped stairs in my apartment block. Even if just using without the basket it doesn’t hold much.Update... in the end I just gave it away to a reuse centre.. it had no value

Hi. The unit is well made. It is reasonable smooth going up the stairs, though it still kind of bangs against each stair which kind of supprised me. My main issue is its SMALL SIZE. The photo does not have anything really to reference it against, However, It is only about 36" tall, so it forces a man to bend over to bring it down a stairs. The basket area is TINY, a mere 14" x12" or about the area of a legal size piece of paper. Seems sturdy enough, so I suspect you could hang hooks onto it to get extra grocery bags on it.However, a major flaw, in my opinion, is that the tiny platform is too small for lifting loads. I bought it specifically to help with a (single) full size laundry basket, but the small platform meant that the basket kept sliding off the sides. Not good on stairs! I bought two long bungie cords, to try to secure the basket better, but it still slid off because of its small base size.So, if you shop only for small stuff, it is ok. But for normal use, it is probably just too small to be useful.
