Risk Management for Project Driven Organizations: A Strategic Guide to Portfolio, Program and PMO Su

This is certainly a unique and valuable innovation to the risk management knowledge base.
Personally, I found section 3 of the book to be the most innovative. A great many texts and experts can tell you about a new system, a new method, a new concept – and they all sound wonderful. But Mr. Jordan takes the brave and bold step of supplying a guide to implementation. This text, in other words, presents a unified risk theory for corporations (not just projects) in section 1, a description of the processes required in section 2, and then in section 3 takes the resolute step of recommending an implementation concept and strategy following good, sound, process improvement techniques.Mr. Jordon’s text certainly demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of how risk should be handled as an approachable whole by a business entity, not just at the project or program level. We practitioners need to acknowledge that for too long we have walked in a direction by looking at our shoes. Andy shows us how to look where we are going and gives us a map as well.
