Slate Digital VMS One-FBA XLR Microphone

If you can’t afford over $75,000 for mics, then this is the answer. Emulations are almost exact. I own an extensive mic locker but not some of the “big boys”. My U47 and U67 are unbelievable. The VMS emulations are so close it’s unreal... and I can change mics after my vocalists are long gone from my studio. Just incredible. The interface that comes with it is also crystal clean. Excellent product.

Havent even been able to try out mic because the software and code it comes with did not work. Somebody help, this is frustrating.

This microphone is defective, resulting in distortion when singing at full capacity, regardless of distance from mic (distorted even when 6 feet away), gain reduction to -40 on both the pre amp and interface and the DAW. I demand a refund or replacement

I've always been interested in getting better mics. I particularly wanted the 10000.00 Sony C800. I've been a Slate Digital customer for years and watched people who purchase their emulations sell their personal hardware units because they couldn't tell the difference. So I bought this system. After making my first recording I was blown away with the emulations. Warm mids, crisp highs and a balanced tone. Being able to switch between these mic emulations is priceless. For this price, this is a steal of a deal. By the way, I've already sold two of my other microphones which I used to use. If you're serious about taking your mic recording sound to the next level and you don't have thousands to throw around then buy this now.
