My husband ordered these for his pen. He likes how easy they install and how easy to store them.

I enjoy the Dryden Fountain Pens and these colored refills add to that enjoyment. They woke great.

I have collected and used fountain pens for decades. I also continue to work in many locations and always carry one with me. I also worry that I will lose them or run out of ink just when I am compiling notes at a meeting or needed to sign something Important. I fear not any longer! I purchased two of the pens in wonderful colors several months ago along with two boxes of ink cartridges (black and blue). They travel well, even on planes as I can remove the cartridge in the pen and replace it again either on Board in the air or when I land to avoid any leakage (although occasionally when I forget to do that I have not had any leakage). Everyone has complimented me on the one I am using at the time and should someone inadvertently start to walk off with it, I can identify it and nicely remind them to return it and let them know where they can obtain their own and at such a reasonable price! “Try it! You’ll like it!” as the saying goes. The hardest part is choosing the color. They are all beautiful! Oh yes, now all my expensive pens get very little use, as these are my ‘go to’ tools of the trade!

I love my fountain pen. The cartridges are easy to install and work well. Both from a practical and ecological perspective though, I do wish the cartridges were bigger and held more ink. I find myself replacing cartridges a lot and each little cartridge is hard plastic, so not easily recyclable. My Dryden fountain pen barrel has plenty of room for a longer cartridge so I'm surprised the cartridges are so small.

Previously I've used the Monteverde USA ink cartridges for my OHTO Tasche fountain pen, which I use primarily at work to take notes during meetings and throughout the course of a day. I go through a cartridge about once a week with how many notes I take. The Monteverde ink is good and I have no complaints but until I tried these Dryden cartridges I would have rated it 5 stars. Now I have to knock it down to 4 stars. The Dryden ink flows smoother and it's darker on the paper. Now this could very well mean the cartridge won't last as long but so far I've been 100% satisfied. I bought these because I was tired of buying 6-cartridge packs. The fit is a bit tight in the pen but it fits with no leakage so there's no complaints to be had there.Overall - great ink! Will buy again.

When I first bought this pen I used the provided cartridges and was very pleased. Then I bought a bottle of fountain pen ink and was quite displeased, skipping, drying ink in tip and just not what this pen was doing. I bought these cartridges and everything was back to the way it was writing when new. One other commenter wrote of similar experiences. Very pleased.

Great price for getting multi-colored cartridge ink. Easy to use-short international cartridges that work in nonproprietary fountain pens. Colors are bright and so is my wallet!

I rarely review my purchases, but buyers looking at these cartridges need a warning.Although advertised as "short international standard" these cartridges don't work with the majority of my pens that use standard international cartridges. (I am not referring to my Sailors or my Lamys, Pilots or a Platinum, all of which use proprietary cartridges or converters.) Unfortunately the opening in these cartridges is too wide to keep the cartridge seated in place - which I learned when I opened a pen and had the cartridge fall out -- literally, it fell out on my desk -- but the cartridge was mostly empty because it had already leaked out and the pen barrel was half-full of ink. I tried other pens with these cartridges, and had to throw out full cartridges when I could not find a pen that they would fit. These should fit my TWSBI,, Kaweco, Levenger, Monteverde, and Namisu pens - but they don't. It's very much a hit or miss situation, but with just as many misses as hits.I was able to use one of these cartridges in a Kaweco Student; but when it ran out and I tried to insert a fresh one of that color, the fresh cartridge did not fit. Right now I have one of these in a Beiluner f.p., and an Ohto Majestic f.p. , but I have tried these in many other pens with the same result - some fit; some fall out; and some simply won’t pop in (or click in, or whatever you want to call it).On the positive side, I do like the colors in this box. However, I have 12 left. Of the12 that I have tried to use, at least four or five of them (maybe even six) would pop or click in and stay put; but roughly an equal number of these cartridges had to be thrown out, having never been used to write a single word.Edited to include this update: I have only 1 left. I didn’t keep an exact count, but as I continued trying to use these cartridges I found that the “won’t fit / won’t work” versus “it fit and worked right” skewed towards a 2:1 ratio. In simpler terms, no more than 7 or maybe 8 fit properly and were used. At least 15 did not work and were eventually thrown out. I did like a couple of the colors, so I used a syringe to suck the ink out of these crappy cartridges and transfer ink to a converter and use at least a little of the ink that way — but that was a slow and messy way to do it. [End of edit.]Maybe if you have used Dryden cartridges on a particular pen and you will only use these on that specific pen, then perhaps the colors and the reasonable price make it a worthwhile gamble for you - but it's still a gamble. (Remember that one cartridge fit my Kaweco, but another one of the same color would not fit.) Me? I should have stuck to my converters, and I won't make this mistake again.

Purchased for a Dryden fountain pen; the ink is great. Cartridges easy to install, the pen writes fabulously.

If you need permanent ink this is not for you but if you just want it to write with, it's beautiful ink. It is also nice to use for painting and having it blur / bleed into the background for shading etc.
