Halo food for cats and dogs are the best. And very healthy for them.

My cats like this. Good quality. A really finely ground pate finally. Purchased several times. Healthy ingrediants.

My cat has been eating this flavor of halo for 7 months and was always eager to clean her bowl. The last 2 shipments of this I have received have been off in color with a pink raw looking hue along with many bone chips. My cat never minded the chips before but they’ve really increased. She won’t touch these last two shipments of food. I’ve reached out to Halo but never received a response concerning quality control issues. Every cat owner knows how frustrating it is when your cat suddenly turns their nose up at a food, and it can be very stressful for a cats system to suddenly change their diet. I wanted to stick to this food but after a second bad batch I’ve lost money and confidence in this food. 5/21-21 update Gave this food another shot since my cat is a picky eater and likes the taste. Like the previous reviewer, my cat has eaten this food for a year zero issues yet with this most recent case she won’t touch the food. The little bit she ate first gave her diarrhea now she’s throwing up foam and won’t eat. Never happened to her before.

Both of my cats, a 7 yr old part Maine Coon and a 4 yr old Siberian, love this flavor and it fills them up better than the kitty crack brand they had before. Better yet, my older kitty doesn't vomit daily like he did before we switched foods! I think he may have a previously unrecognized allergy to the grain fillers. Sadly, due to a bad car accident while working in Europe, we have just lost 2/3 of our income and probably will be unable to keep them on these more expensive foods. We don't mind beans and rice, but our poor babies won't understand why their good food has to change back to kitty crack which the younger one doesn't want to eat anymore and the older one upchucks! Just when we found something that works and that they like! Good old work comp! This flavor is a particular favorite. Highly recommend. Do not recommend Halo Spot's stews, though. Who in their right mind puts peas, carrots, and green beans in food for a carnivore?? I have to thoroughly mash the vegetables in to get them to eat it or I wind up with a bowl full of veggies they carefully eat around! One of the stews (the chicken and beef) neither cat will touch at all so I'm stuck with 11 cans of the stuff. This flavor does not have the veggies like the stews and gets 2 feline thumbs up here!

I make the cat food with raw chicken and needed additives, but always like to have a grain free canned option for the times I am out of the raw. Only one of my three cats like it, the other two prefer grain free dry at those times. But I keep canned on hand. The other two are junk food addicts. They love the cheap stuff. They are rescues and probably got cheap stuff from people feeding stay/feral cats. Thank goodness for those people. At least they were fed! I do the same.

16 paws up for this food... My four cats love many of the Halo Spot's cat food and this is no exception. I decided to try the Turkey and Duck, just as a way to add some variety and they LOVE LOVE LOVE this food and it was gone in no time. The kitties also like the salmon, white fish and lamb recipes. A little pricey, but you cannot go wrong with Halo Spot's cat food!

I did a lot off research and this is supposed to be a high quality cat food. For some reason my kitten would not eat this food. Things happen. Only reason I give 3 stars.

Our cats actually demand to be fed and wait expectantly for their food. Both seem to be extremely healthy and our larger cat is slimmed down now but still extremely active. Both cats eat less now even though we also provide dry cat food they can eat at will. The food does not smell bad either, which is a plus. I did a lot of research on cat foods before buying this and am happy our cats love it.
